UPDATE- the second part of this episode. I am divorced from Aaron it became final back in May of 2010. He continues to tries to come back home to me and my girls which that will never happen. I have moved on and currently engaged, me and my daughters couldnt be happier. Carmen & Aaron goes through the fazes that me and him onced did, they have a beautiful son together. He is currently serving 5 yrs for child support. I do wish them the best of luck.

I don't get why they assume that the lie detectors are 100% correct always. Aren't they inadmissable in court for the very reason that they are not accurate?
They're pretty accurate , that's why cops use them to see if they're going in the right direction . You can watch Misty Croslin failing hers on here .
@portersbabe ur right pretty accurate but there not lie detectors setect a raise in ur heart rate. u can easily take a medication to lower it. also i took one n they asked me a ridiculous question : if i ever robbed a bank? of course i didnt im only 17. but i failed the test b/c i was nervious. just sayin there is ne lie detectors coming out soon that actually tests ur brain waves which is about 80% more accurate.
@portersbabe ehhh, partial truth. They're only as accurate as any machine that was built over 100 years ago and then never really improved upon can be. That being said, the pop up toaster could provide just as much as accurate a reading as a lie detector. The reason Steve uses these on his show is because of how the guilty party reacts towards hearing their own results. If someone truly had nothing to hide, they wouldn't wig out and would maintain their innocence to the end. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks for the info. Yea, it amazes me how all these talk shows rely on the lie detector as if it's the be all and end all of the truth. Makes me wonder how many people have been falsely accused on these talk shows (Wilkos, Maury, etc.).
@driven6996 They're only not accurate depending on the people using them, I know on here they caught people out taking something to cheat the test. Also it depends on the state for the lie detector being admissable in court. Since the FBI uses lie detectors it should be accurate. However three ways you can fail a lie detector, if you lie, if you've been trained too, or the person carrying it out made a mistake.
