im going through what george is going @ the moment, i need a new job, ANY JOB. lol and i used to work @ the movies as an usher and projectionist and ended up quitting after 3 long years for so much stupid things that has happened while working there.
My favorite scene from season 2! I'm in the same situation now cause I'm looking for a job, but it's kinda hard and sometimes indeed "really not fair". And they sometimes pay people to watch movies, its called moviecritic (I am one :D)
This might be my favourite all-time Seinfeld scene. George is in that fog of trying to decide what to do with his life and realizing that he's thoroughly unqualified for just about everything. I think about this scene pretty much every time I'm looking for work. I love that he's sitting on the floor. He literally can't get much lower.
Of course he appears so innocent and humble that you have to want him to get one of these jobs! And he does get to be the general manager of a baseball team. This has happened to me, in general terms. Believe me, adopt this innocent and positive atitude and you will be be blessed.
I always loved how Seinfeld used the term 'broadcasting'. He could've used an every day word like "people in sports" or, 'entertainment, ' or, 'who are commentators.' But because he used the term 'broadcasting' which is a word people recognize but don't use everyday (at least I don't use it), it made it sound that much more out of reach, more exclusive.
Like using the word 'cartographer' instead of 'map-maker'.
I've been looking for this clip! This is about how I feel almost every day trying to find something, ANYTHING, else I can do! LMAO Thanks for posting!

do you have the 2nd part of this? At the end of the same episode, he's back in the same place talking to Jerry and Elaine about other stuff he likes.
