Don't get a Bengal! They often have temperament and digestive problems because they are wildcat hybrids. Mine always hissed at me, wouldn't let me hold him, and frequently had diarrhea around the house. We had to feed him a special raw meat diet, and even then he would still poop on the rug pretty often. We raised him the same way we raised all of our other cats, but he was just naturally nervous and aggressive.

@maximum411 you can't generalise. My bengals are all very docile and are NEVER aggressive.They all use the litter tray and I never had any problem of this kind. Of course, there are bengals and there are bengals, but you can get an aggressive cat of any breed.

I did read about them, and the behavior was not my fault. I raised my cat in the exact same manner that I raised all of my other domestic cats in, and they all turned out wonderfully. It's called genetics- this is why people domesticated the cat and why we, for the most part, do not keep wildcats as pets.
