  • i really wish they have those outro thingies on the record

  • Love the way it steps up a gear. one of my favorites

  • ill make a list of the best muse albums ... oh e=wait it's impossible !

  • here are my favorite muse albums in order from most fav to least fav:

    origin of symmetry

    black holes and revelations

    the resistance

    showbiz

    absolution

  • @mindexit07 oh wow, i thought "The Resistance" was their crappiest album. I do agree with you on "Origin of Symmetry" tho.

  • @mindexit07 absolouion last :O

  • Omg I LOVE this song!! And the lead singer has an amazing voice!!! Everyone in this band is so fricken awesome!

Muse Please come to New Zealand ASAP! and have a concert in Palmerston North!

  • Probably my favourite Muse song

  • If resistance has the meaning of getting mature I would prefer to remain a baby...(This sentence is half-ironic).

  • Ahh the memories

  • oh yeah baby see you in september third time can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I just love muse

Most easy way to put it, completly and utterly love them, i have every album, they make such great music

This song sounds great here but this songs sounds like it should be played at a huge place like wembley, it just fits it better

  • the final is AWESOME!!

  • To be honest I think people underestimate BH&R. If you think, Supermassive Black Hole (live especially) is just a great dancey rock song, Take a Bow is just purely haunting, Starlight is the best pop song they've ever produced, MotP is just amazing prog rock, Soldiers Poem shows diversity and is beautiful. City of Delusion is sooo underrated that it's untrue. There's a high majority of amazing there and they fit together as a cohesive unit better than Absolution did "in my opinion" :)

  • couldn't agree more.

  • Don't forget Knights, got to be up there with the very best.

  • This is probably the only song from BHAR that I still really like to listen to, KOC live is great too.

  • ø„¸¨°º¤ø„¸¸„ø¤º°¨¸„ø¤º°¨

    ¨°º¤ø„¸ MUSE „ø¤º°¨

    „ø¤º°¨FOREVER`°º¤

    From:Chile!!

  • one of the best live bands EVER. loving the breakdown @ the end, hit rem with a big riff, exit stage left...

  • i hate how people say bh&r was the worst album, they're basing this on how well supermassive and knights of cydonia did, but songs like this, city of delusion and take a bow dont get much recognition as some of the best songs they've ever written

  • Every song on BH&R is amazing

  • i know im just saying the best songs on the album dont get as much recognition as the most over rated tracks.

sadly i think thats just todays music industry.

  • bh&r was a great album showbiz and resistance are my fav but bh&r gave us Hoodoo and invincible and i think those are the best songs

  • this and city of delusion from bh&r for me! although hoodoo is fucking awesome!!

  • i love muse...top 5 bands for me...if you ask me showbiz is they're worst...but i still love that album, origin of symmetry is obviously there best bh&r is they're 2nd best and the new one is pretty good too. i didn't like absolution much i thought bh&r was a refreshing change from that

  • Yes, musically it's some of the best work they have done. MOTP, COD, TAB, awesome songs.

But as an album, it completely fails for me, there is no connection between the songs. Absolution on the other hand takes you on a journey, start to end.

  • that may be the case, but you must admit sometimes your not going to listen to an album from start to finish every time, i think muse realised this after absolution and put together an extremely versatile range of songs. This allows each song to conveya different emotion in every song, and though that may be the case with absolution, listening to a song thats bang in the middle is like starting a book half way through, and can act as a disadvantage, no?

  • Genious way of thinking, I think ur absolutley right!

  • You do have a point. A lot of the time, I do listen to random songs.Muse did consider releasing future songs individually at one point.

But thats more to the point that I wont listen to it as an album. Absolution is one of the CD's in my car changer just because of how good it is to listen to start to finish on a journey. I just feel this is a weak point for BHAR.

I can't believe I've minus 6 on previous comment just because I'm criticising them, christ I'm a huge fan of them.

  • @Gr33nMamba Whilst I do agree with the Absolution thing there. It is a concept album after all. BH&R is more of a collection of songs to me, which doesn't make it any less awesome to listen to. It's my 2nd favorite album. <3

  • gr33nmamba, I can't even see your previous comment anymore since it's been voted down to oblivion, but I get the sense that you're not trying to bash bhar; I agree with you completely about Absolution--it remains my favorite -album- precisely because of how good it is to listen to start-to-finish. And I believe it is possible to think that and still simultaneously agree with mjtruelove06 about how smashingly good the songs on bh&r are.

I just love this band to death. haha.

  • great point.

also with Muse you can't compare albums. every one is different, a different sound, a different meaning. each album is a sort of evolution, or maturity, and you just can't compare the past albums to the present ones.

  • i agree!

  • @JamesCmuse after releasing The Resistance BH&R can't be their worst one. I want to reconcile the violence in your heart, I want to recognize your beauty is not your mask...

  • @ninjacobra

The Resistance isn't a bad album, and is just getting slated like BH&R did. People are just expecting a rock epic like absolution only better, and when they don't get it they kick up stink. And those lyrics are quite good actually, compared to some older muse tracks, It's not the best song of course, but that's no reason to slate the resistance. Its like the soldiers poem from BH&R, or the Blackout from Absolution. You can't pick out a song and try blame it for making a bad album.

  • @JamesCmuse Completely agree. You have hit the nail on the head. BH&R is musically superb.

  • @JamesCmuse this! you are correct sir! :D

  • @JamesCmuse absolutely agree...they dont have a bad album really, but i was a little disappointed with "The Resistance"

  • @FutureSailorOhYea Think the resistance was cake of shite iced with steaming dog vomit.

  • This is my favorite Muse song ever ,and still is..

  • i love this song!

  • My most played Muse song on iTunes. Just has this mysterious element to it. I can't describe how genius 'Black Holes and Revelations' is. Possibly the best album ever in my opinion.

  • Agreed

  • Haha and I LOVE Oasis too!

  • got to say, i prefer origin of symmetry

    altough bh&r is genius aswell

  • wtf...........???

  • y did he laugh?

  • hahaha

    what a funnny laught

    2:27

  • I wish they had TV shows like this in America. Seems like such a cool idea.

  • They don't have shows like this in America because most Americans have terrible taste in music... so we have American Idol. (Speaking as an American.)

  • yup. The only thing close to this is like Jay Leno or Late Night with Conan (I forgot the new guys name). They let some bands play, but this is way better. Most people do have horrible taste in music. (Speaking as an American Too)

  • nah we have stuff like friday night with jonathen ross, we used to have parkinson too which both are similar to jay leno and the other dude

  • Speaking as a funny American. You earned a thumbs up.

  • Where are you from...what do consider good music

  • touché

  • @bhukee37 You are damn right.

  • @bhukee37 Unfortumalty....I havr to agree with you...but havr heart,,,there are aa few of us that see through the bullshit......

  • @bhukee37 Unfortumalty....I have

to agree with you...but have heart,,,there are aa few of us that see through the bullshit......and appreciate true talent

  • @bhukee37 your a fucking idiot

  • @moka10 but he is a correct ideot

  • @CODMW219 how so?

  • @moka10 america sucks and the most popular music ina merica is made by little shits that are barely 15. wtf. muse is one of the greatest bands on the globe right now and thats not because they can kinda sing like a twelve year old girl.

  • @CODMW219 which has nothign to do with our taste in music idiot. europeans love that fag just as much as people do here

  • @moka10 Nah we don't :)

  • THAT LAUGH WAS SO CUTE :D

  • They just dominated that show....

  • LOL! Matt laughs at 2.28

  • yeah i heard that too haha

  • awsome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • hmmm I love ALL their albums =)

But my favourite is Absolution. =)

  • OoS is the best for sure

  • Buy Absolution or Origin or symmetry, cos i think BH&R is for the new type of Muse, and Showbiz is for the classic fans of Muse, so if you want some good mix of the both, get either absolution or OoS.

  • or just get the hullabaloo soundtrack i have all muse except blackholes a r. but the soundtrack has shit from every cd its a two disker with probly 25 total tracks.

  • heroes. (:

true musical GODS, they beat anyone in terms of musical standards.

  • They're amazing but no, they don't.

  • they do :)

  • "i think its RATM Maggie's Farm cover..."

    "no, it's microphone fiend"

no it really is maggies farm = D

  • second song I've listened to by this band, i'm im gonna save up for their CD. No doubt.

  • Good choice my friend! Which CD are you looking at buying?

  • Showbiz and Origin of simmetry are the best!

But I love Absolution and Black holes and revelations too... It's difficult to choose only one CD XD

  • OoS and BHaR are the best!!

  • maybe, I don't know... it's not easy to choose one album of Muse. They are just awesome!!

  • I think you should definitely buy a CD of a different band, so you don't have to worry about which Muse album you have to buy.

  • I ended up buying Origin Of Simmetry and absolutly loved it =)

  • WHERE DID YOU FIND IT, i can't find it anywhere :( i have absolution and blackholes but i really want OoS

  • I found i at Best Buy.

  • hmv, amazon

  • phew, i found one at hmv, LUCKY ME only one copy left lol

  • YAAAAY :)

  • 'why cant we see that when we bleed we bleed the same?' what a lyric

  • Right about the first part... now greenday??? Not so right!

  • haha wow i just lost respect for muse because of you.

  • green day is my fav band, but they are no where near muse in terms of musicianship

  • whoever did the mics is retarded u can barely hear the vocals!!!!!!!!!!

  • Try turning your speakers on ;)

  • as far as live bands go they basically shit on everyone...except queens of the stone age of course

  • This is just epic!

  • Totally Awesome, definately one of the best bands of the last 10 years, and one of mu favourites! :D

That end guitar riff is also done on the HAARP tour. If you wanna see how a band should perform live, trust me, watch HAARP

  • i think its RATM Maggie's Farm cover...

  • no, it's microphone fiend

  • lol matts laugh at 2:27

  • no matter how many times i hear this song, or see it coming in the playlist and think 'nah i dont' want to hear this again' once i hear the start, i must listen to the whole thing :D. LONG LIVE THE MUSE!

  • long live muse...

  • Coldplay makes me fall asleep, to plain boring.

  • Muse are in a totally different league to any of the 'modern rock'that we have today. Matt is extremely musical, he writes all the lyrics, piano (Listen to Butterflies and Hurricanes & Space Dementia), guitar. Chris is a very successful bassist, never misses notes and plays some pretty hard stuff (Hyper Music & Bliss), Dom is good, not the best drummer ever, but more than sufficient. I've listened to Muse over 7 years and never once have they failed to impress. Don't even try to compare them.

  • Corn i think u did hear that lol

    BULLSHIT =p

    Wombats write great pop songs

but not evan in the same league as muse

  • they sound the same as in the original song!

  • amy winehouse is watching them here:P

  • and must say

''OMG i got own by them O_O''

  • Me four............MILLION. XD

  • Yeah!!!

    The best ;)

  • Every other band that night must have been bricking it trying to follow up the best live band in the world! Hard to live up to Muse, they're always unreal.

  • arctic monkeys write some good tunes as well

    (muse are awesome)

  • i have to say, although im not a fan of arctic monkeys, their lyrics are very good

  • What band writes/performs better music then Muse? I'd love to hear peoples suggestions.

  • oasis

  • Don't buy into the pop culture. And i said 'Writes' in the present tense, Oasis are famous for the music they wrote in the 90's.

  • im probly reading this wrong, did you say the wombats are better song writers than muse? baha

  • bahahahahaha you made me laugh!!! i can vouch for the white stripes being good songwriters in their own write, mabye on par with Muse but the others, oh god.... and you mentioned mike?!?!?, why hes probebly the shittest musician ive ever heard with lyrics like this: "Walks into the room, feels like a big balloon I said, hey girls you are beautiful"

    Compared to Muse:

    "Wash me away

    Clean your body of me

    Erase all the memories

They will only bring us pain

And I've seen all I'll ever need"

  • A song about self esteem and image which affects most people in the country or a song about splitting with a partner, which one is more powerful?

  • Whichever one Muse wrote ;)

  • citizen erased wasnt about splitting with a partner if you meant that

it was a song based on the 1984 book by orwell theres more to it but yeah

the end of the song kinda just seems as though the narrators life seemed to come to an end

"and ive seen all ill ever need"

  • coldplay suck live tho muse rocks all the time

  • i said this to another comment but it got fucked up so this probably wont make sence.. or however you spell that

  • Better song writer than matt bellamy...you are joking right..you really cant be serious!?

  • Songwriting? You obviously haven't heard the song If I could Fly by Joe Satriani. Listen to that and then list to Viva la Vida.

  • Haha! D'you read that in The Sun aye? Come across it in the passing while you shook one off over Page 3? I doubt they'd listen to Satriani's bloated, over-blown instrumentals anyway. That song was good though. Thanks for recommending it. Pity Coldplay improved it, eh.

  • OK. Who even initially mentioned The Sun? No one as far as I can see so that didn't even make any sense at all. I'm assuming you wack off over page 3 regularly if you just randomly bring it into conversations.

If you don't like Satriani then fair play - that's your opinion.

I'd take Muse over him any day though.

  • If you cant appreciate the brilliance, go away

  • HAHA Coldplay, razorlight, the kooks > Nice Joke

  • favorite band...

  • same

  • here here :]

  • The other bands there would've been leik.

OMG WTF WE'VE JUST BEEN OWNED

    Lol. Nothing can compare!

  • yeh i'd hate to have been performing at that show that night....u'd feel so un satisfactory.

  • everytime Muse are about to play its like Here comes epicness!!!"

  • amazing music style! :)

  • I love this song, is amazing,

    a perfect sound

    matt´s voice is beatifull

Muse is one of the best band in this world

  • Ofcourse the outro riff is amazing, it's made by Tom Morello

  • Love this band!!!!!

  • lo maximo

  • I love this band.

  • Amazing!!!!

  • I love this song the drumming is immense and so is the outro in this version, they used the same outro at Wembley :D

  • Was that Matt laughing at 2.27?? What a great outro also

  • I think he was about to sing and realized it wasn't time yet. haha

  • what an amazing outro riff :]

  • I love the drumming. And the whole song.

  • 4:00 = =

  • He's not called Mark, he's called Morgan Nicholls.

  • no its their effect and piano guy called mark.

  • was jools backing up on the piano?

  • Thats a bit harsh tallpaulrobertson......his voice was just as good as it is now on the first two albums.

  • orgasmic. pure orgasm.

  • haha, thats just my words !

  • when will dis lonely nights be over....ooooo

  • nooo, loneliness, be over,

when will this lonliness be over

  • i thought he laughed because he was about to come in at the wrong time. well, it seemed like it cuz he backed away real fast. idk

  • You've got it right... 'cause that has happened to me on more than one occasion! LOL

  • i have the best quality vid in my hd..

    best live band no qns..

  • that end riff made me cream myself

    :S :P

  • Nice! - but i agree, the song is pure sex!

  • the intro reminds me of a garage band covering muse.
