You also say that this is the "De facto Barricade" but WHO CARES? It looks really good but wouldn't you rather want hasbro to make figures of CHARACTERS WE KNOW AND LOVE And not BLANK DRONES that have no character and only say a sentence or 2 in a dumb action movie? I also hate that people mask the fact of the core problems with these figures because they have good paint and molded details. You can mold in any details that you want but it will still transform like crap!

This figure looks okay. It is obviously the best of the human alliance figures. BUT I do think that the Human Alliance Figures are a step in th wrong direction! Ever figure is basically the arms & legs flipping out and you are left with a SHITLOAD of shell at the back. I think it is FUCKING TERRIBLE. I like that Barricade doesn't have as much of the shell on the back.

Thanks for the review Baltmatrix! I just bought this figure two days ago and he is a badass figure! It took me awhile to admit that Human Alliance Barricade is better than Human Alliance Sideswipe! Breanainn is right, the in instructions that I have, the foot spar sits forward. Also they have you turning the wheel on the right hand in, to form the forearm. Great figure, great review

i preferred the black on black look on the deluxe. too much of that "gamesworkshop" plastic grey. also the shoulders lack robust build in the movie and the kibble around the legs kind of hides that subtle double knee.... don't know why people keep calling them chicken legs as anatomically they resemble nothing as such. they're dino legs IMO. although jetfire does have chicken legs and sideways isn't far off but he's more grasshopper which works.

I would rather have 2 decent looking arms/hands than having these lame gimmicks that sacrifice the overall look of the figure. Also, they should have made Frenzy a transformable weapon of some sort.

Yup - HA line are bigger than the voyager line - the voyager Optimus figure is a let down , very small scale , naff mould .

I really like the HA line as they remind me a lot of the binaltech/alternator line for scale .

The human alliance line goes some way towards making up for the weak voyager OP and megatron figures - but thats just my nickel and dime opinion .
