I quit about 3 months ago after 5yrs of smoking... went through a few withdrawal symptoms but now i feel amazing, ive been able to gain 5lbs in 2 weeks and i run and work out every day! I recommend everyone to quit!!!!

I quit FOR GOOD a month ago after 13 years of heavy smoking. I will never have another cigarette. Craving are terrible, but not as bad as dealing with the consequences of smoking down the road in my senior years. We get one chance at this life. Plain and simple, there is NOTHING good about smoking.

I've been a smoker since i was 13 & I'm 29 now i want to quit but i cant its hard 2 explain i kno i have 2 & I will. My mom smoked since she was young as well she died 2 years ago from cancer of the lungs & throat. I have 2 kids & I do not want them to feel what I did when I lost my mom & 2 top it off u think I'd learn something or want 2 quit after seeing my mom suffer for 2 months & then die so horribly but i didnt im still smoking & i dont get it i feel like im stealing me from my babies =(

I have been a smoker for the past 2 years - I recently just quit smoking about 15 days or more now. Its just not my cup of tea anymore the smell of the smoke irritates me now and ew knowing people have hairy tongues from that shit and yellow teeth... and how it can cause 32550932835209 diseases to anyone (including yourself)! As an athlete who has asthma should know better - time to get back to my old healthy self again. Good luck to all!

This is a feel good video- but I bet over 90% of the smokers who get all teary-eyed and moved by this video will still be back to business as usual in a week or so.

Everyone knows smoking is bad for you, especially these days. So the people who still smoke despite this aren't actually trying to quit- or bothered. The don't care, which is why they draw tar into their lungs on a regular basis.

My dad use to smoke fairly heavy and he hated it. One day he just dropped it and hasn't touched a cig for 8 years. You will never quit if you don't want to. You have to hate it, to quit it, or it wont happen. Everyone I know, who can't kick the habit, still likes it. You really have to say "fvck it, NO more." It's all for the better, for yourself and others.

Sorry, but this is just ridiculous. Everything just feels edited and fake, and learning how to quit smoking like this is pretty sad.

Goodjob at trying to get these people to stop smoking, but I don't agree on how you should do it. Also, giving them something to chew nicotine or the like doesn't make sense, it just helps the addiction.

@Selliah Secondhand smoke is a killer and she probably knows that. It must be hard knowing you're slowly poisoning your own children, no? (I wouldn't know, but) It seems really hard to stop smoking. anyone trying to quit smoking... I would highly recommend the allen carr easy way to stop smoking... thanks to his program I have been quit for 8 months cold turkey....I disagree with the method of using patches and gum...how do you cure an addiction to nicotine by taking more nicotine it's ridulous and it actually prolonges the addiction.. /watch?v=0TL2Vh7goJc .. check out that link or type allen carr in the youtube search engine

@archymtln Yeah i remember hearing all my friends say that when they were kids. "I will never smoke!" Now they're all smokers because their parents were smokers. I, on the other hand, actually meant it. if the Gov wanted to be really serious about making sure people quit in Canada they would make buying cigarettes illegal if you were born after 1990. People born after that date as of now should NOT even be smoking.
