I didn't say they suck, pearls in my opinion are great. I said that this guy irritates me because his parents buy him a $700 dollar drum kit at the snap of a finger because he shows a little interest and he doesn't even put an effort into setting it up properly. So I think it is clear here who should shut the fuck up.

And regarding your little "Article in the paper" There are a lot of company's that can compare to pearl. Its not about the drums, its the person playing them.

Every drummer has his/her own feeling, but this is just the way kids that know nothing about drums and/or setting them up does it, it is bad for you drum skins and will make fills harder and less accurate for any drummer.

i use the (clear) genera 2s for bigstage live setups. they rock. i wouldn"t recommend coated for your kit tho.

Pretty sweet. I could do without the creepy breathing in the background, but it is a nice setup. Those guys talking about sound obviously don't know how to properly head and tune a set. I just got a 5 year used forum set, slapped some remo ebonys on it and tuned it down to Cb minor and it sounds just gorgeous.

hey one way to get rid of the big gap in the middle of of ur tom-toms on ur bass is too rase the tom mounts up and ppoint them down wards it really helps get rid of the gap..but whatever way u like is kool nice cymbols anyway

yeah I personally love it, just doubt the snare a bit but with these heads the toms sound excelent, but what I love the most is th bass drum, Its so powerful and clean. But for the price I can't think of anything better. PEARl rocks man

Just mentioning that your china is upside down, the bowl of it should befacing up, because if you play it like that the the lip will eventually crack and break off. It'd be like putting a crash cymbal upside down.
