i am sure they all found great homes...i still wonder 40+ years later, how in the heck did these animals (dogs) not FREAK when they heard their masters being murdered!!!
I wasn't aware Sharon owned any pets, but I knew Gibby had a small dalmation named "Tom". One can only hope Debra Tate kept her word by taking in Sharon's dog, and finding a good home for Gibby's dog too.
everytime we forget and we say oh those people have been there that long they should be out and blah blah all you have to do is go to trusty youtube and realize why they are there,also this is for people that are so against guns, if someone invades my home they will end up 6 feet under in a flash,if i was staying in a friends house way out in the middle of nowhere you bet your ass my 357 will be very close to me at all times but those were the times,love all around,right
@dntlss I agree. We have two guns in the house and I wouldn't hesitate for second to use it. I have read a lot of true crime books and killers are not going to give you a second chance, so you'd better do whatever you can to get them before they get you. God bless.
@xXPinkGoddessXx I agree, but I do believe that we use very humane methods. I don't support being one's own vigilante, let the prison do it lawfully. My statement was to denote that while I am a liberal, I believe in justice.
So sad to see the tiny kitten being removed. I believe Sharon had been taking care of it before she died. I read that the kitten had walked amongst the bodies after the horrific murders.
As warped as Manson's Family was, they liked animals. I'm still surprised the dog/s didn't freak out & run when they heard the gunshots. I heard Manson himself came back later that night & rearranged the bodies. What was Garretson doing?
It's so sad seeing all the animals being taken away. :(
I don't know how they survived the carnage but I'm grateful that they were spared, I just wish to God that the murders never happened & that the victims were spared too. I think of Sharon when I see the pets because I know she was an animal lover & must have loved them dearly. Very sad..:(
Nice to see how gentel they were with them, especially the kitten. I suppose seeing the carnage humans inflicted on one another, they felt more inclined toward gentelness.
@BlueEyedM1819 Sharon's, Abigail's and Rudi's.

What a shame.
It is hard watching this.
However, I'm sure they all found good homes.

@scorpietta I am so liberal that I believe it is more humane to end their lives as quickly and painlessly as possible (the killers, that is).

@lexlaw007 Debra Tate and take this with a grain of salt, said she took Sharon's dog and found a home for Gibby's dog.
