Umm...hydrogen? You know, another famous air ship back in the thirties used hydrogen. What was its name? Ah, that's right: Hindenburg! Seriously, nobody's gonna jump for this. I'll bet not even the North Koreans would be crazy enough to try this.
@kerminator29 they ought to use helium instead, if i had been a rich person that could afford something like this, theres no way id put my legs onto something filled with hydrogen, no way.

I'd be interested to know how it copes with strong winds. Also, I'd like to see it developed for the common traveler, rather than being pitched at the wealthy. This might happen if it is mass produced with economies of scale.
lol, your not gonna see the average joe in these for at least 20-30 yrs, its just like space travel, cruise ships etc, and to avoid been blown to kingdom come, theyd have to design them more flat than round to act like a wing flap that side on propels with the wind and front on slim line reduces resistance.. plus a few jet engines just in case.
Scale the project down and make 10 units of smaller models of the same consept. THEN you'd collect the experience and data you need to go large scale. Otherwise this project is doomed to fail.
kinda cool. but is it dangerous? still, it would be an awesome way to die! not that it seems dangerous or anything. well, it kind of does. but not that much. i'm sure it's perfectly safe, being full of hydrogen and all.
Everything that needs something human created to stay safe is never 100% safe, something can always happend, all we can do is prep the machinery for every possible situation we can think of happening, and make sure the machinery is always in good shape, and good news is that we'r getting better at it ;) Read about this in the news like 15minutes ago and after I'm done writing this I'm gonna set up a savings account so I'll be able to have my vaication on one of these ships one day in the future.

@kokopelli314 It is. Seems like a far more dignified and natural way of travelling, rather than being crammed into a jet.
