you pay into the system its set up to where when you then need it latter on in life its there so for all those tea party people they can bite me cause i paid into it and half the persons who want to cut benifits at the tea party rallies draw a ssi or ss check!! lol

i get ssi i,ve been on it since was 17 my mom put me on it because i had anger problems and depression i,ve been diagnosed with autism im27 now and i feel that im a lot better nowadays i wont get sued or something if i get out and work and lose my ssi will i?

@TheBadazz801 Actually, SSI has programs now for people who want to try and get back into working. I think it is a great thing that you want to go out and work though.

The entire system is messed up and a total fraud especially in Oregon. People that need it cannot get it. It is not needs based. I have enough credits and can get it that way but I have lost 23 jobs but worked for a year and a half and they used a 8 month scale and made my income higher than it was rather than figuring my income on a 12 month scale. I cannot even walk and cannot get SS and have panic disorder and severe depression and cannot get it. There is not one ounce of fairness about SS.

@PamelaRP I noticed that people who cant walk or move cant get it, yet people who claims bipolar or depression gets it with no problem. Yet these Bipolar and depression people are seen all over town doing what they WANT to do, Not what they NEED to be doing. Its like, as long as its fun, they are ok, as soon as its time to work, all of a Sudden, they are having a episode, and are down!

I have been trying to get on SSI for about 2 years now. I have been turned down 2 twice. First denied and got a n attorney to reappeal it for me. Get turned down at a hearing. What's wrose, I have alot of problems. Anxiety disorders, bipolar disorders, suicide problems, ADHD, OCD, panic attacks. Been through alot, have slit my wirsts open a few times and still in the battle of getting it for having so many problems.
