  • Very nice, but I think he needs stronger glasses.

  • Well if he keeps practicing he might get it.

  • Kind of humbles the standard "guitar player", don't you think?

  • @BellumSacrumBellum28 Naw..... LOL

  • I will never touch my guitar again.

  • someone, tell me what a melody on 0.3 - 0.5 sec

  • @vitalaaaaaaaa1

    Asturias (Isaac Albéniz)

  • @vitalaaaaaaaa1 He was playing a small phrase to make sure he was in tune. It was from Preludio-Leyenda Opus 232 No.1-Cantos De España Asturias from Suite Española by Isaac Albeniz. Called Asturias Leyenda for short.

  • Paco De Lucia says not bad

  • That man is making love to the guitar. BEAUTIFUL.

  • I made it for my last concert!!

  • i like how Terrence Farrell plays it , look him up .

p.s he will have a mustache

  • @greenpredetor the mustache of power:: lol

  • he is no roy clark...but pretty darn good. lol

  • Why would anyone with even a modicum of intelligence try to compare a classical guitarist with an electric guitarist of the pop genre? It's ludicrous.

  • Not quite. My iq is definitelly higher than yours at 160. And further more try to play a Hendrix song and the a complex buckethead lick. Hendrix is an overrated noob.

  • You cant compare electric gutiarist with an classic gutiarist, they both working on different styles, I mean like... i would really like to see a classical trying to use a tremoloarm like Steve VaixD

  • To me I think how fast he plays the song just ruin's it..just sayin

  • Try Jose Feliciano's B & W video version and you just might change your mind on that.

  • verry nice !!!!!!!!!!

  • i don't even want to try the guitar anymore after this makes anything i do look like child's play

  • @arsinist113 it should be the opposite, this should be the inspiration to do better on every aspect of your life, just try hard, if you get tired, do it once more, if you get bored, do it just once more, if you feel is enough just keep doin it. If you throw a rock and want to cross the river with it, the rock might end up in the middle of the river, but if you aim at the mountain that is behind the river, you might end up even closer to the mountain and far away of the river.

  • @baibaiway nice words....saw him twice in sacramento doing rodrigo....impeccable.

  • What's the technical term for the flamenco quintuplets?

  • Great! Think about a trio between Pepe, Tommy Emmanuel and Robson Miguel...WOW!!!

  • this guy gets laid so many times that there is a 12 percent chance that you are relative to him

  • this video can give an ograsm to any girl in a 50 yard radius

  • sei un fenomeno!!!!! io già tanto se so suonarne la metà!! ;-)

  • No description available, but there is a description needed. "The closest one can get to perfection"

  • does anyone have the link to this tab?

  • @GielR00 I mean THIS particular version of the piece.

  • 1 guitar?????????

  • MY FAVORITE GUITARIST,

    BASED ON ONE SONG ALONE

    "JOTA" on Philips records.

  • I am convinced of it, there never was a better guitar player than Pepe Romero.

  • @truthslap Ahh, Andres Segovia is right up there. I'm not saying he's better, but they're both legends for sure.

  • @AlexBigD absolutely, Segovia and lets not forget Julian Bream, both I'd call true masters, it's just Pepe Romero had something inexplicable in addition, there's a unique feeling in his sound that I prefer to the other masters.

  • @truthslap Yea, you definitely have a point there. Pepe Romero has such a clean style thats unique to him. A master guitarist for sure.

  • @truthslap Hendrix lol.

  • @mustbeburtreynolds thats a good one lol, as much as I love Jimi's albums I wouldn't put him over any serious classically trained guitarist, especially the masters like pepe romero, paco de lucia, julian bream, etc.

  • @truthslap I was being facetious. You can't compare rock/blues guitar to classical guitar, there's just no point.

Although that doesn't change the fact that Jimi and any of the classical masters could've have an incredible jam session.

  • @mustbeburtreynolds well I never compared blues/rock guitar to classical guitar either, so what were you suggesting exactly? if you don't like the idea of a "best guitarist" I can't blame you, but I would say the classical guitar masters have reached a level that most of the greatest electric guitar players aren't close to reaching.

  • @truthslap Only in one sense. In terms or technical skill, sure. But in terms of "knowing/feeling" the instrument and the current mood/atmosphere... Hendrix or Clapton or Santana or Page or Robert Johnson or BB King or a number of others would absolutely blow the classical guys out of the water at a rock concert, and vice versa at an orchestral performance.

Like you said, there's no such thing as a "best" guitarist.

  • @mustbeburtreynolds Hilarious post. The technical abilities of all the guitarists you mentioned is just really basic stuff. They are famous, but as far as technical goes, they suck. You give Pepe an electric guitar and he can play their tunes even if he was in coma, lol.

  • @Testacojones hahahahahaha ignorant douche.

  • @mustbeburtreynolds You know that I'm right, but hey your taste is your own, don't feel bad about it. It's not polite to insult those that educate you. Saludos!

  • @Testacojones Hahahahaha no, you are just the epitome of snobby arrogance. Typical European superiority complex. Get over yourself and learn to respect each artist for what they are.

  • @mustbeburtreynolds Don't understand your post, get a grip on reality and leave those junkies and alcoholic music destroyers or beginners at skill out of this post. Pepe Romero the the son of Cuban born Celedonio Romero deserve better than a comparison with some peasants at best.

  • @Testacojones Hahahahahaha you're insanely arrogant and like I said, snobby to the core. Fuck off you ignorant neanderthal.

  • @mustbeburtreynolds Actually I'm Basque so Cro-Magnon. Oh, there's no need to insult you as you obviously do it better than I thought! Have some dignity and bite a pillow. Agur..!

  • @mustbeburtreynolds Jimmy Hendrix is not the guitarist to compare. As great a musician as he is, he happens to be a terrible guitarrist from a technical point. Al dimeola, joe satriani, buckethead and many others are much more comparable

  • @SimpleAndyRock Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha oh my god you're a fucking moron. No offense, but seriously, you're a goddamn moron.

  • @truthslap really?

  • Wow.......

  • Violinist is getting a little bored. The problem with flamenco guitar songs - too lonely.

  • @psalmblues I tend to believe she was feeling the onset of an orgasm.

  • thumbs up for ivanhoe comercial

  • zolia,

Please do some research...evidently names like Segovia or the Romeros have never crossed your radar, and being "sorry" doesn't excuse you being rude.

And it is "can play the guitar that well."

  • geez i didnt know that an old fart like he (sorry for the expression) can play the guitar this good

  • @zolja95 Your comment is beyond ignorant. Are you unaware that people get better as time passes? Ya, older guitar masters "can play this good" moron

  • @mso872 geez there's no need for insulting me...

  • i will never understand how people can pluck that fast..

  • @spazzymcgee5678 Tremolo technique. And more important: years of practice.

  • The audio tracks are screwed up. Thumbs DOWN.

  • Perfecto!.

  • Does anybody know how to get a copy of the sheet music for this version?

  • @EylerC go on classtab dot org, go to ernesto lecuona and you will have in there a tab of his version

  • @aidemakedonia I went there and found it. The tab is fairly accurate. Between that and the video, I was able to work it out. Thanks for your help, Eyler

  • @aidemakedonia I was looking for the tabs or sheet music and the one you mention on classtab is not this version at all. I also found a music sheet of Malagueña which says "Transcription by Pepe Romero", and guess what, it's not what he is playing here either. I think there's no tab or sheet for what he played here. If so, please pass the url :) thanks......

  • Bravo!

  • The Malagueña as Pepe Romero performs it has his deep understanding of and full participation in it ; he understands the form, he brings life to the piece. Consummate

  • Esto fué en el León de Greiff de la Nacho, en Bogotá... que honor haberlo tenido....
