CAN ANYONE HELP ME PLEASEEE!! iVe been asked to dj a club. But ive been using my equipment since i started. ive seen dj's bring only there laptops . But what i need to know is do i have to use the clubs equipment/ program?? i dont wanna suck on someone else's equipment. please help!!
@TheCalikiddd you can used your equipment and i advise you 2..all you need to do is plug in with the club equipment.either they have rca or 1/4 inch plugs coming out the amp going into the mixer tell the club to invest into a behringer eurorack,.that way they can always have the two main plugs you need to plug right into your mixer with no adjustments whatsoever.everything you need is right on your mixer.highs lows...bass...i invested in one of these because most dj's cant hear
I have an old stereo system that I found scrapping, it's a Onkyo 200 watt tuner/amp/ AKAI graphic e.q. with my cd,dvd, vhs player and Kenwood tape player. however I can't figure how to hook up the e.q. it hasa 8 jack's,play and record for 2 tape players and 4 for a"line" what is the "line " for and ow can I hook it up to the tuner, and if I do can I use it for the whole rack system?also ...and/or am I right in thinking that whoever had this before just used it, AND you can only use tape player
Hey how do you hook up an equalizer to the Yamaha Rxv663 which doesn't have a tape input and output. It only have md input and out. Can I hook it up there instead?
Everyone has to be taught how to hook shit up....or were you born with knowledge of a sound engineer? That would be like saying if you dont know how to beatmatch, bassline swith, double drop, or eq than you dont need to be in the feild of being a dj!
nope, im pretty sure this stuff is common knowledge/common sense. like i said, if you dont know how to hook up a stereo, you are probably not the best person to be dj-ing
you still have to be taught about shit for it to become common knowledge/sense, and u are right about if you dont how to hook up a stereo than dj-ing isnt a good fit for you, but when u r talking about amps, powered monitors, mixers etc than thats a bit more than just a stereo.
@duhd999 I was born able to see colors... In my case I put the orange into the orange because I use digital coax. I also realized that when I put the orange into the orange labeled 1, sound came out of channel one when I turned up the volume on channel 1! I had zero experience with DJ equipment, bought my rig, and had it set up within 5 minutes working perfectly fine.
@e5hansej So is this before or after you started fisting yourself?? The title of the GD vid is How to Hook Up DJ Equipment and there has been 30,000 hits so it seems that not everyone sees colors as well as you do. And I have a feeling you spin some pussy as trance or some shit just by the vibe from your well timed post. You should start a DJ school and name it "DJ school for people who are born able to see colors good"
@duhd999 I spin electro house. And what do you spin? Nothing: because you still haven't figured out how to hook up your Stantons to your Neumark? This is the worst series of how to videos on the web. If I had no idea what I was doing I could figure it out faster guessing than watching this shit.
@rish000 even when your a beginner and you have a set you should know how to set it up. Why would you spend money on something you dont even know how to connect
my mixer doesnt have balanced XLR outputs and theres a hum through my speakers because of this. if i plugged my mixer into a regular mixer would the hum go away?
your house.....then in a bit ehrn ur friend throws a party u spin at it ...then after a few hundred parties you make a event(boat cruise)...then u make more events at a ware house.....then u doo clubs
i just got into djing and dont know shit. I baught two turntables and a mixer. the mixer was brand new but both the turntables are used a little. I plug both into the ph 1 and 2 lines, put the grounds in and set everything up like I have read but my cross fadder and ch volumes dont effect anything. advice? did I plug stuff in wrong? and take it easy I just got into this a little while ago.
i think you should download some demos on different softwares and see which one you like best :) tip: virtual dj is a good software to begin on or traktor
and something they didnt tell you, you should turn the micer on first and then the amp, and allways turn the amp off first as well, to avoid pops and harmfull surges.....
