Champa attacked VN many times, In 10th century, when VN King sent 3 ambassadors to Champa, Champa King detained all 3 of them! Champa also allied with Mongols to invaded VN! Therefore, VN attacked Champa is A RULE OF SURVIVAL. When someone try to kill you, you have to attack them to save your life.

VN did not use wars to steal Cambodia land. Cambodian Kings gave away their land to VN in order VN army helped them to fight against Siam (Thailand) invasion.
