@TheAstro30 Let's say you take standard coil with 8Ohms&1KHZ.

Now the impedance equals 2XpiXfrequencyXL. Everything stays the same except the frequency, and you divide the frequency in 1000 (to get 1HZ instead of 1KHZ). Now your impedance equals 8 mili Ohms. This means you multiply the output by 1000! So if you used 10W RMS & 1KHZ, you'll have to output 10000W RMS for the same amplification and signal amplitude !!!!

@shlomiya that's *theoretically* correct, but a measurement with an oscilliscope will disprove that. The amp's output cannot and will not swing any higher than the supply rail voltage (usually a volt or so lower) in both negative and positive going peaks (when it does it's called clipping). Power output is then the voltage output (before clipping) multiplied by the current drawn by the amp P = E * I. Thanks.
