  • Wow I wish I could dive there

  • How deep is it?

  • Super!

  • Yes, I admit, I should have thought before I typed and tried not to have revenge. :P It's cool?

  • @GtForLife123 Is cool :)

  • @Vornaskotti Mmk, Cheers! Please go diving more often. :P

  • Meh if I was them I'd punch that glass out... just for my grandfather....

  • @GtForLife123 And fucking up a historical artifact and a very interesting dive site would help your grandfather how? Yeah, my grandfather was injured in the war and saw his friend blown to bits in front of him, but for some reason that didn't give me an impulse to turn to a dumb ass vandal.

  • @Vornaskotti Haha, wow, you sure are full of anger. Good day!

  • @GtForLife123 I and some diver pals were just discussing about diving wrecks and why certain ones are not open to the public anymore, and why permissions are hard to get. It's because of people vandalizing them: breaking them up, stealing parts and so on, and essentially spoiling it for everybody who comes after them. So yeah, that kind of thoughtless vandalism does indeed piss me off.

  • @Vornaskotti Aha, I understand why it must piss you off. So back about 68 years with bullets ripping through planes was vandalism? Also, I'm not really in the mood to fight.

P.S. It's not every day you see someone who types using correct punctuation, I have to give that to you.

    :-P

  • @GtForLife123 Not spoiling for a fight either, but I hardly see how it's relevant to destroy historical artifacts now because of what happened 68 years ago. And mind you, my grandmother was a war refugee, my grandfather was in the war and in this part of the world, if you know where to go, you can go and dig up WWII rifle shells from the forest.

  • @Vornaskotti

Raging, that's what happens when you want to destroy stuff. And yes, one of my grandmothers were running from the Japs, and the other was running from the Nazis. My grandfather was Polish, and etc. I go digging in my backyard and find U.S. Civil War bullets very often. Where can I go shell hunting, if you happen to know? Italy? :P

  • @GtForLife123 That sort of raging isn't something any thinking person should condone. If anything, seeing artifacts from the wartime make you remember that not two generations ago people were killing each other over several continents in abandon. If there is rage over that, the lowest form it can be brought out is fucking stuff (or people) up. The better way is to be bloody angry that things got to that shape, and do you best to prevent it happening again.

  • @Vornaskotti And that's the position you're in, if I understand correctly. I'm not trying to go searching for enemies. I've got too much to think about already, and I don't want another thing to think about. -.-

  • @GtForLife123 No enemy here and yes, I started the conversation a bit more aggressively than was perhaps needed. You just poked at a sore spot, which is destroying historical artifacts. Should've taken a couple of calming breaths before replying :)

  • one of the planes are in a big storage building in bjerkvik 30 kilometers from narvik.

and it was suposed to be stripped and rebuilt and put on the roof of bjerkvik hotel as a war memorial for the ones who passes the hotel. but it is just been stripped and just forgotten in the storage building aside the carreapir shop in bjerkvik and a waste of place.

  • the ju-52 has always been one of my favorites!

  • tervehdys ! tuleeko tuo joki/puro harttvikvattnetiin itäpuolelta järveä ? autolla näköjään pääsee hyvin rantaan ?

  • Very nice video! Thumbs up!

I´m surprised, that there is still a plane in the lake.

Didn´t they pulled out allready three Ju 52`s?

Or was this a different lake?

  • @megatwingo I think they indeed pulled up a couple of the planes, don't know why this one was left in there. Maybe because it was half buried in the sand and mostly stripped of anything useful.

  • @Vornaskotti

That may be a reason to leave the plane there, yes.

  • Very nice wreck !

    crystal clear water.

    Whats the water temparture ?

  • @MrPrometheus9 Water temperature was around +5C. Not that bad when using a proper dry suit and thermal wear.

  • nice!!!!!

  • nice diving Hannu but I prefer diving in the gulf of Siam, much warmer....

  • Hannu was with us on the trip, but this is not his YouTube account :)

  • It's very sad to see airplane wrecks, but this must have been a great adventure for you.
