  • For SurpSargis: The name of the song is "Ur Es, Mayr Im" or "Where are you, my mother". This version can be found on the CD soundtrack of the movie "ARARAT" by Atom Egoyan. "Ur Es, Mayr Im" is a traditional song of the Armenian Apostolic church although not considered an "official" hymn. It is traditionally sung on Maundy Thursday. Soloists find it very difficult to sing due the high emotive impact of the words.

  • what is the song called, PLEASE answer

  • @SurpSargis i dont know for sure, but if you want the song please use tipe this on google: youtube mp3 download, and click the first topic, and you copy paste the link of this video, and download it

  • @TheMistAnchorite thank you my armenian brother/sister

  • @mcoteg in romanian seminaries study also old calendarists, so that is not an argument, we let them learn about us so that way the should see what we see

  • @mcoteg what ti read ? i study theology, and it is simple, the true orthodox o Armenia, are the hai-horom armenians ! they have a saint called Dioscorus who killed saint Flavian, and Proterius, how can they have those saints in the church ? they condamned Eutichius but they left Diosocrus, who was more heretic than Eutichius ... interesting ! the subject here is jai-horoms so please stick to this interesting subject and have respect for them

  • Overall, there is no major Christological difference between the churches and one day we will be in full communion. Even the seminarians that attend St Nerses Armenian School hold part of their education at St Vladimir's Orthodox Seminary here in the US.

  • @mcoteg it is very simple my friend, the Apostolic Armenian church must accept 4 5 6 7 synods, accept the miracle of Saint Euphemya, condamn Discorus, in one word they must return on beeing like the hai-horom armenians ! it is very sad that the hai-horoms are the only ones left of the armenians that are true ORTHODOX

  • you should read a bit more in church doctrine and understand that the language differences between Armenian and Greek made for confusion regarding the nature of Christ. These days there is much more agreement between the Armenian Church and the rest of the Easter Orthodox.

  • @MRV1939 yes i agree and she is armenian ! but armenians should see their church history, the history of the hai-horom s

  • never mind. this girl that sings is from Haven .beautiful voice.

  • Thank you for sharing this video.

  • @CrazyAxelStyle no problem, as you can see the light is not gone from Armenia but lives in the souls of the souls of the orthodox believers called hay horoms, the only armenians that didnt abandone orthodoxy, the official Armenian Apostolic church abandoned the fight since they adopted monophisite doctrine, at Dvin synod !

  • @CrazyAxelStyle those hay horoms will judge Armenia at the end of times, especially their priests saing: Why did you took our churches, why did you abandoned the One true faith, why didnt you had eyes to see the miracle of Saint Euphemya ?

  • AND THERE YOU HAVE IT FRIENDS, this is the truth about Orthodoxy in those parts ! todays priests of Armenia consider Orthodox people heretic, even one of their own people the hai-horom armenians
