I think maybe it's the multi tiered backgrounds. Makes it look different from the others
Though these were removed in later games as fans didnt like it cause it game players with the high ground an unfair advantage
It'd be nice if Sega released this and Fighter's Megamix , Last Bronx to PSN & XBLA with online play but currently Sega's been acting kinda gay so...

possibly. i loved the stage designs and backgrounds in this game more than the others, very surreal. and it may also have to do with me loving the dreamcast more than anything else. so basically im biassed.

The only thing is some characters face models look ugly in this game. Like Sarah, Pai, Leon & Jackie.
