I know why the CLK-Race Car was removed from the game. It's because when they went to publish the game, Mercedes didn't approve of GT2 using their race car, so they went back to the drawing borad and tried putting in the Mercedes-Benz CLK-GTR, but then Need For Speed told Polyphony that they had already copyrighted the CLK-GTR (In NFS Hot Pursuit), so basically, Polyphony just threw out the car. But, one of the members on the development team liked the car so he decided to keep it on the disc :)

No, its not a mod. You can't mod a PS1 game.

i had the NSTC version of GT2, and the Calibra AND Tigra race cars were both in there.......without Gameshark.......first time ive ever seen the Mercedes or Polo though.

Yes, the Vauxhall AND Opel cars aren't usually obtainable on the same game, but by changing the language to German, on the PAL version you can access both of the dealers.

Try to win licences with all gold medals, I can't remember wich cars are prizes for the licences, but that cars isn't on the lists of new or special cars....

P.S.: I think that one of that is racing version of Toyota GT1....

That car iz coo but there iz a car that iz hidden. Its the Toyota GT1 but a different year think 98. The one u can buy is 99. So there iz 2. The only way you can use it is on one of the A or S licence Maybe S. I think it is faster. Ive never found it anywhere else. THAT I FAILED but I still got 100% no cheats and it took a year. But havent played dat game in 7 years.

I loved the GT40 in this game. I remember that in the first mid-engine race the best car you could afford was a Tommy Kaira 'cos the GT40 was locked and it was the prize for winning that series. Sometimes you raced against it (and lost), sometimes you didn't... Never quite figured that one out. I had a lot of fun!

Dude I'm from Serbia and we had all these cars in the game, they were not hidden. Maybe in the U.S. version they are hidden but in Europe they ain't. The best game for PS-one. I was a kid, this brings out some great memories.

these arent secret cars, i had them all, you just need to complete the correct races/tournaments. or u might even be able to just buy them if u have enough money. also u can get the hks drag and the escudo pikes peak up to almost 300mph

Yes they are secret cars. The CLK and the Polo were removed from the game, and the only way you can get them is to use a cheat disc to put them into a used car lot. The Vauxhall/Opel cars aren't usually obtainable on the same game, but by changing the language to German, you can access both of the dealers.

The Tigra and The Other Opel cars i got without emulator.

They are Archievements for special Stats in the Game

and the Polo too.

I guess the CLKracecar is a Archievement for 100% of all races driven/won.

and the Acuras i dont know

Ok, about the Opel/Vauxhall cars. On the PAL (european) version of the game, the Vauxhall cars are available and the Opel cars arent. But if you change the language to German you can access the Opel dealer. On the NTSC (USA version) you can only access Opel. And the Mercedes and the Polo are unaccessible without a cheat disc.
