What I meant to say was that it's sad how the Bantus continue to oppress non-Bantu Africans even after suffering similar injustices at the hands of European colonizers (in this case it was the Belgians who were especially cruel in the Congo). By mentioning 'white man', I was not speaking about American slaveowners but the European colonial masters who colonized Africa after long after slavery was banned in the U.S.

This is very tragic and I hope that by saying this I do not offend anyone but the statement about the Pygmy people being the "oldest people in the world" is unfounded. The oldest genetic lineage of people in the world is known to be the Khoisan in southern Africa. The Pygmy people are considered to be the second oldest in the world based on genetic divergence. Nonetheless, the UN needs to expedite it's legislative process and extend it's laws to protect native peoples from acts against humanity.
