It needs 2 intake ports and 2 exhaust ports, instead of just 2 intake ports (least what I see). Since the combustion happens in the same places, have the 2 spark plugs there and the exhaust ports a little further down.

It's a good idea, but in my opinion digital steering of the cycle would exist in better performance.
