@dollarbill8 That is funny! I lived in Indian Creek and Orangewood in the mid 80's. I went to Neil A. Armstrong JR High and was a cheerleader. Best years of my life! Miss it.
My mom grew up here. She mentioned to me the other day that it was great growing up, because you never had to ask where the bathroom was at a friends house- you knew! I still go back every thanksgiving. It's a lot different socially now, but looks about the same. :)
i grew up in cobalt ridge,2 canary rd...walter miller/neshaminy/queen of universe....maple point.....moved mpls,mn in 89.... peace to the greatest town ever in PA
this is a wonderful video about the rich early history of my beloved hometown.Levittown,Pa. is a wonderful place to live as i can well attest since i was born and raised there,on Stonybrook Drive to be exact, and even though i have moved to St.Petersburg.Fla,about 6 years ago,my heart is still and always will be in my beloved, beautiful Levittown,Pa.
We lived in Hyacinth Road, and were the only residents who actually grew Hyacinths in the front flower bed!

HAHAHA, wow. I can't get enough of this stuff, thanks!
I have to say, I don't remember the Welcoming Committee when I moved in, LOL. I also had to wince at the "no crime" report.
Did that police officer almost get eaten by a dog?
I wonder if Mr. Levitt knew that some of his houses were going to eventually sink. Mine is starting to.
