Whenever I'm over in Cloch Cheann Fhaola (Cloughaneely), the neighbouring parish, my mum has "Highland Radio" on in the kitchen and the car. Think that might mean the north of Donegal fancies itself as the Irish highalnds... :-D

I think the producer of the anime heard of the band, and (mistakenly) thought that "Clannad" meant "family". (It's actually just "Clann". I dont know what it was with Harry's Game, but watched it as a 8-9 years old, and it put a clearly mark in my mind when i hear this song. This series by the way created a lifelong interest in the aspects of the conflict in northern ireland.

The chorus is a lullaby, it has no meaning as such.

The singer is Enya's sister and I think one or two of the guys are brothers of them. Love this song so peaceful and calming. I am Irish btw!
