I can see why you believe god, I once did, now I cannot say why the god of the bible though. I believe the church is corrupt telling people what to do and how to behave. It is sad when you hear people feel lost because they put trust in their paster and finds out he did wrong. Oh and I use 666 in my name because i think people have too much fear over simple numbers, we should not fear evil but stand guard against it and do what is right. If you fear a number than you do not have faith!

its not just him. There is good people in Christianity. But I do not see how God makes one good! Things that turn me away is just some of the stuff in the word of God! Such as lot offering his two daughters to a mob to save angels! Why did god allow him to leave Sodom after that? Its this question and more that keeps me away.

Because Lot trusted in God. He lived a sinful life, but he still trusted in the LORD. He was an example of a backslider. He had faith in God and lived for God at one time, but he got lured into the world.

So what the bible is saying is it is okay to mess up rape your children or give them to a mob as long as you have faith? and since god knew he would back slide then why save him. Hell by affording his daughters he showed a lack of faith. Just because you live for god at one time doesn't mean you should not be punished

No, the Bible isn't saying it's okay. God just spared him from Hell Fire because of his faith in Him and the fact he was truly saved. Lot's life got messed up afterwards and his daughters wond up commiting getting him drunk and commiting incest with him. Sin always has consequences.

@darthsun666 - we are not saved by what we do. salvation is a gift of God. people can still sin who have faith in God but in Christ God paid the price for all sins so that your anger at God is misplaced because He paid the price for the offence of Lot. therefore God could be merciful to Him because in Christ He makes all things right. sin and evil are in the world so that God can reveal Himself to us. to judge Him is like a child judging an adult while not understanding whats going on.

The Spirit may as one of its works be poured out to rebuke humans. It is very clear that rebuking in itself is necessary and that Gods rebuking is also upon the ungodly as a just wrath. God does NOT punish children. He doesn't even punish those older (yet) for the Bible says "He does not treat us as our sins deserve"
It's not because of their parents' weaknesses, sickness came upon the world when adam and eve first sinned. Trusting in the Lord is the only was to escape despair.
What benny hinn is doing is WRONG...as everyone else, unless they repent, the wrath of God remains on them.
