whatch the first secs see his right hand (left in the video) look at his thumb see is kinda in strange position then when he taps on the table you can hear a loud noise (a coin hitin the table)
@Pisztu It's easier than that. One's up his sleeve or tucked in his palm which he drops in the top and then drags the first coin off the table using the bottom of the glass.
Something almost exactly like this is in the book Carneycopia by John Carney - the coin is on edge between the table and the glass in Carney's book. This is one phase of the routine, Carney's has a couple more penetrations
I might search this sleight up and ad it to my repertoir, it is very direct and you aren't very dirty. It just looks what it looks like, nothing more.
He keeps the second coin in his hand while hitting the first coin with the bottom of the cup and finally allows the second coin to drop in the cup while the first coin is still under the cup. While dumping the second coin out of the cup, he pulls the bottom of the cup towards himself and grabs the first coin out from under it making it look like the first coin is the second coin that went through the cup.
Also, abm921, your explanation makes no sense. Anyone who does pause the video at 34 seconds won't see how this trick is done . Can you do it ? Do you have the skill?
"pause the video at 34 seconds and it ruins the trick"
No,it doesn't ruin the trick. YOU ruined the trick by pausing the video and stepping through it frame-by-frame until you thought maybe you caught a flash of something. (and you further ruined it by telling other people to follow your unfortunate example). That's not how magic is supposed to be viewed (frame-by-frame) . We view magic in live performance and how it looks in real time.

2 coins. When he slides out the coin from the glass, he pushes the one original coin off the table unto his lap.

I guess he has two coins, and he drops one into the glass before he pulls the other out

It is not a trick glass. However, it is always interesting to see what people come up with so they can sleep at night.

I am sure a lot of things can be purchased on ebay, but Werner uses a real glass. Why does this fact disturb you so?

pause the video at 34 seconds and it ruins the trick, because you can see where the coin came in through!
abm921 5 years ago
the coin never falls goes through.... That's solid glass and you have been decieved.

Ah, this is great! No one does this anymore, and I don't know why when it seems so much better than the much-lauded Glass Stinger.
