  • @Pier2pie: what, you don't get "google" on YOUR internet? WTF? of course, I'm just kidding around. Beaded lizards are venomous and a close cousin of the gila monster. They look very much like gila monsters except there are no bright colors.

  • i live in Arizona and we have a big hole in the ground!!! aka the grand canyon

  • Awesom show guy's whenever you do an expo video it's amazing keep it up!

  • at 0:51 what is that? he looks awsome!! Mini Raptor!!!

  • HELP!!! i recently got a ball python that is slightly over a foot long. I don't know its sex, but its tail tapers quickly after its cloaca. Anyway, my problem's are

    1) it's refusing food

    2) it's skin is dry and forms creases when it moves

    3) it's making wheezing and popping sounds when it breathes

The biggest problem is that I live in a country where snakes are illegal as pets so I can't get any veterinary help. I have another snake that is doing fine, so I doubt the husbandry is the problem.

  • I'm a first time owner so does anyone know how serious this is and if there's anything I can do?

  • Hey i Live in Dubai, and we have the tallest TOWER on EARTH ..... REPRESENT

  • Where I live, in the Netherlands, it usually rains and that sucks! I just looked outside the window and yes...it rains. The cool thing is, we ride bicycles, but that means we get wet all the time...the irony. That's all I have to say honestly.

  • where i live hmm thats a thinker tell ya what though its great.theres enough crime but not to much to keep me on my feet and doesnt get to boring. nice show

  • how do you spell the name of the gecko at 3:10 ?

  • @bugman0408 Rhacodactylus leachianus, or what we refer to as a "leachie" for short. It's in the same genus as crested and gargoyle geckos.

  • @snowgyre Thanks

  • Very cool show Brian

I really enjoyed watching it, at 3:40 your reaction was really fast lol

    keep up your videos =P

  • nice catch

  • you show say next time theres a major canadian reptile show

  • I'm an american and America is my favorite country to ever exist. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. It's great because of all our freedoms, now only if we could get those demicrats out of office.....

  • @pinktiger3 LOL

  • I wish you could have talked about the Azeurus frog. Don't think it would've been wise to handle it though.

By the way, It's strange to hear 'bugger' in an American accent. I didn't know you guys said it! Also when you were talking about getting a bite from the gila moster, you said you'd definatley probably go a trip to the hospital. I do feel definatley and probably are conflicting ideas. Some amazing creatures this week but I had much more fun nit-picking your dialouge. ;]

  • @Ollievarium We (Americans) do say 'bugger' from time to time, but we use it in a cutesy affectionate way. I know in South Africa and other British-English speaking countries that 'bugger' has quite a different connotation. ;-)

  • @Ollievarium definatley?? You mean definitely :)

  • @torfason15 You win irony man!

  • Comment removed

  • Brian why dont you put the two halloween zombie snake shows together to make a show and inbetween get replays the top ten chewy bites. Also for a bit of fun for one week you all could change places, chewy boss etc, lol

  • Too afraid to handle a tarantula, brian? You should try holding that Chilean Rose Hair, they're docile :)

  • Hey guys,, I recently got a hold of SnakeBytesTv and have been watching all the episodes on YouTube.. Lovely work.. Keep it up..

I'm actually from Iran and the cool thing about being persian and myself in particular is that I live afew miles away from the Nuclear Plant..

  • The winters! I live in Wabush, NL in Canada and the winters here are beautiful and long! Great skiing place, lots of ski-doo trails and lots of snow make it great staying here for me.

  • ANOTHER ADVERISEMENT OWND BY F5!

  • The DAMN Heat ! ; (

49C on good days too... SaudiArabia FTW !

  • i was there! haha it was really awesome to meet you Brian! :P

  • The San Juan islands have to be one of the coolest places on the planet. I grew up loving this place, but we get people from all over to whale watch, fish, hike, and all sorts of outdoor awesomeness! Not to mention I don't have to worry about venomous reptiles, just a brown recluse or two :P Easy to regulate temperatures for my cooler temp herps too

  • Can anyone tell me what monitor that's was at 5:52

  • By the way, the komodo dragon is now recognized as a venomous lizard, and other varanids may also be venomous. See "A central role for venom in predation by Varanus komodoensis (Komodo Dragon) and the extinct giant Varanus (Megalania) priscus" by Fry et al. 2008, available for free download with Google Scholar. Our beaded lizards and gila monsters may not be as unique as we initially thought! ;-)

  • the good thing about Arizona, is the weather! herping in the desert which can be as little as an hour away for a good spot and i don't have to buy a parka or galoshes.

  • Giant New Caldonian geckos are so cool!

  • wow he said "actually" a hell of alot holding the gila monster lol

  • are carpet pythons very aggressive

  • @princessdaedae09 they can be antsy, but in my experience they are calm once you have em in hand, just dont hold em too much because they can be an agitated kinda snake.

  • cool episode!
