Labour were going to change the voting system with no referendum of the people, the system they proposed would have favoured themselves and the LibDems to form a permanent Left Wing coalition, permanantly making the Conservative party unelectable in the future. The plot only failed when some Labour MP's openly criticised it ,stating they would not support it, and it imploded, this was a very serious 24 hours in the UK dont doubt it, this was in every way an attempted Coup D'Etat

Reading the comments on here is funny.

Campbell is simply being a bully and I think Boulton absolutely win that one. Boulton spoke with passion and anger whereas Campbell simply did what he does best which is lie professionally.

I find it odd that Mr Boulton was unable to manage this situation. Particularly as he is reacting badly to a situation that he himself has put many a politician. He is know for his hard and pointed questioning.  But unable to control himself when the tables are turned.
