ok never mind, turns out the SMI Grabber Device was in the drivers folder on my easy cap disk, so I had to manually install it as if it's a separate program. It works fantastic!! Just as fast as I would play it on my television. Thanks!

ok I bought the easy cap and it came with the cd (Ulead Video Studio SE DVD) and I downloaded "Setup Easy Cap Driver July2011" (SMI Grabber Device). But every time I download "SMI Grabber Device" it says that I downloaded it incorrectly, and says re-download using recommended settings, I did that, and then when I went to Ulead Video Studio SE DVD, I didn't see SMI Grabber Device as a source, and I did run as administrator. All I see is my webcam. Why won't it show up?

@Ompmovies the best way is to try and find out.. If it doesn't work, then maybe you need another type of driver or program to use along with MIcropac Technologies usb capture card

@OneUnited555 sadly, its not HD... You need HDMI cable to connect for HD.. I believe all the new laptops has HDMI connector now.. Mine is an old laptop...Its around 480p or below...

i just brought an easycap should get it in the mail today. does it come with any soft wear with it? i have downloaded "Ulead VideoStudio 11" and a driver but it says i can't install the driver because there was no device found for it to install. can someone link me to the driver just in case i got the wrong one? thanks
