I've seen John's video at work. It really opened my eyes. I'm puzzled though that at my place of employment management stresses safety, but at the same time sets a production goal (that I feel is to high) that employess have to cut corners to meet that goal. I understand that the work needs to get done. But I think the job will be completed in good time if an employee works at a moderate pace and the company lowers it's standards a bit without paying incentives to exceed production.
