So forgive me for not caring about armor bonuses or anything, but there is nothing I love more than the Steel Plate armor, without the helmet, on my Nord. It just looks really cool.

The helmet you guys are asking about on the imperial armor is the 3rd type of imperial helmet found during the quest where you shadow the argonian for thieves guild, or head up the mountain past froki's shack and you will find one

Can you still sneak well in heavy armor? I'm assuming that as long as you take your boots off to avoid making noise, it'll be fine. Then again, light armor is a "stealth"/"thief" skill, so I'm hesitant.

@JWFernel you can still sneak with heavy armor on there is the perk muffle in the sneak tree and a spell muffle teamed with that will make you silent also there is a perk in heavy armor that makes you silent as well hope this helps

I got mine on a theives guild quest I was looking on every single shelf and I found a few extreme poitons and then I found the imperial helmet so just look at the shelves.

@josie200988 hey if you want to get that helmet you need to go to the shrine of talos that is just behind froki's shack in the rift on top of a mountain path, you will be able to see ivarstead from it. and it will be in front of the shrine once you get to it, i hope this helps :)

@GrassPokeKing All non-enchanted armours can be improved to legendary. In order to improve enchanted to legendary you need to have 200 skill through cheats, or drink lots of smithing elixir.

An armor combination that I like to use is: Markarth guard helmet, wolf armor, ebony gauntlets and wolf boots. Combined with steel arrow quiver and ebony sword/shield i like it better then the way Daedric armor looks.

there are two types of steel armor and helmets. those are the wrong gauntlets. yes they are steel but they go with the imperial set. the steel nordic gauntlets go with the steel set you show
