There is a way to buy single letters for your keyboard. Look on ebay for your MacBook/ Macbook pro. I have a set of black keys for the newer MacBook Pro's if you need some I'll sell them for $2 ea. for just the top button or $4 ea. for the spring hinge & button key. My ebay store is MacBooks-2-Mopars send me a message.

@beautytwentyseven yes, the two mettle bars put them against the spacebar, then push the bottom part of the mettle bar into the keyboard and then put the other bar at a right-ish angle and lower it into the keyboard pressing inward. (not sure if that really worked.)

Damn that was fucking annoying. I recommend tweezers, patience, and good lighting. If it frustrates you, just walk away from it and try later.

Working with the more physical aspects of technology (hardware) can be rewarding when you get it right without breaking any tiny parts...But that was still incredibly tedious.
