I prefer my new Tundra over my weak F250 (260hp Gas V8). I recently pulled a 5,000lb trailer for 750 miles with the Tundra. 120 miles of that through the Missouri Ozarks. Steep upgrades were no problem.

just saying, my ford's been going for 16 years with a 5.8 and e4od. It's gone 194,000 without one problem. The only things that i've replaced are the ball joints, tie rods, and power steering pump. All easy to replace. I've towed boats with it, trailors, off roading, and its still going strong!

The F150 also stops the quickest when 1000 lbs is but in the bed. And to add to your note, the modular 3v 5.4 has 80% tq before 2000 rpm and has the flattest tq curve in it's class. It's a tq monster, not made for top end hp like the tundra..that is untill you modify it ..like mine..and be able to tow and walk over the tundra.
