  • LOL I LOVE THE TAMAGOTCHI

  • where das she come from? her name ?

  • @bettermanmelomano From Russia, Poland and Ukraine. "baba" is "old woman" on (I'm not sure) russian.

But everything about her is just a history :)

  • @bettermanmelomano Yes from Russia. Its all pagan russian fairy tales and legends

  • Absolutely adorable!

I'm a fan of Baba Yaga. It is funny but almost sad to see what she would have come to in modern times. I laughed out loud to see the children knock on her door. Poor girl she cannot bring herself to eat them either.

Great music, too. I'll try to find more of his work.

  • i thought baba yagas abducted and small ate children

  • cvery nice, somewhat scaring. Great Musi

  • Hmm.. I always thought Baba Roga would eat the children. Isnt it true ? In your cartoon , she is portrayed as a nice grandmom.. Is the interpretation different in different places ?

  • Great! Touching! Wonderful!!!!

  • the music in this is so catchy

i wish i could upload it to my ipod!

  • this was so cuuuute! Loved it!

  • this really moved me in a weird way, thank you for this movie.

  • baba yaga was a EVIL witch that horifide all people, but i gess its weidishly cute for a kid

  • I love scene where is baba yaga :D

  • Excellent video :)

  • Fascinating take on the Baba Yaga legend!

  • Мой ребенок (2 годика) обожает этот мультик и музыку к нему.:) Спасибо!

  • Was that a Tamagachi? Anyways, cute story :) Russia cartoons are sure amusing!

  • Cute story! What if an old witch out in some wood could make your Pokeyman real?

  • yes i agree verry sad, especially because baba yaga is of the wildish nature, not of the motherly nature.. actually she iis almost the exact obosite.. seing her like that gave me a sick horrid feeling.

  • @midnight1995raven i do not say this to disrespect your little storie, i thought that it was quite cute, it just made me confused is all.

  • @Drakesverd I took it as happy, actually. To me it means that ancient traditions never die and will always exist among us.

  • 3:11 xD

  • This is Polish?

  • Loved it!

  • There is something in a child that can redeem us all ...

  • Super cute.

  • at 1:11 i thought "The Itchy & Scratchy Show" was gonna start XD

but anyways can any1 tell me wat baba yaga is about?

i went 2 some place when i was a kid and this guy was talking about baba yaga.

  • @BrownPrideMexican602 Baba Yaga was slavic/vendic pagan character, mysterious old woman, healer, (she also helped poor people against rich ones) sometimes also a witch, living in woods in a house on some "chicken" legs... People - especially farmers who were superstitious, were afraid of her, because she possessed ancient knowledge from ancient world when Gods were still living among the people and giving them knowledge - like agriculture and much more:)

  • Oh god miss those good old Russian fairy tales.. And baba yaga will be there in almost every story Ive read.... Remember "Vasilisa the beautiful", Tsarevich Ivan and his Golden apples", "Father Frost" , "Fenist the Falcon" , "Tsarevich Ivan and the grey Wolf"? I am talking about tales I have read 20 years ago! anyone with me ?

  • @ashokanto123 oh totally,i know all the stories u talked about.they're all in my book. i have other books as well that have different illustrations and they're just so beautiful. Raduga Publishers did a great job, publishing various folk tales from different parts of Russia...I got a nice collection, awesome. Do watch the animated version of 'About Crayfish'..the story's rather dark, but its amazing.

  • @ashokanto123 @ashokanto123 Raduga Publishers!! Yes I remember the name now.. Nice meeting you by the way.. Is the cover title of the book " Vasilisa the beautiful" ? Is that a green color book? Ill watch about crayfish and see how that is..

  • Oh god I miss those Good old Russian fairy tales...And Baba yaga will be there in almost all fairy tales i have read..

  • baba yaga is lady gaga

  • @tubebellator

what are you talking about?? what the hell does lady gaga have to do wit anyhing

  • @mufongo people who don't speak russian just don't get it

  • @tubebellator STOP. I really like Lady Gaga :(

  • @Sushimaniac96 BABA YAGA IS LADY GAGA!!!!!!!

  • @pecahalloween bitch, fuck you.

  • @Sushimaniac96 hey i'm a man, not woman, you BITCH, lady gaga is the biggest bitch EVER!

  • @pecahalloween Why is that? You're an idiot.

  • @Sushimaniac96 you pussy, can't you see the lady gaga got a penis!

  • @pecahalloween Where's your proof? You have no valid evidence to support your idiotic statement. Stop believing every single bullshit rumor you hear, you fatuous and stupid child. Get the fuck off Youtube.

  • @Sushimaniac96 Hey stop i saw on youtube, lady gaga doesn't wearing under pants and then i saw it! She doesn't singing good, baba yaga singing better than her, monkey singing better!

  • @pecahalloween Absolute Bullshit. I can see that you're extremely ignorant. If you had time to go search up videos of Lady Gaga's imaginary penis on Youtube, couldn't you at least go and search up videos her her singing live? She has an incredible voice. One of the best in the music industry these days. Go search up "Lady Gaga sings on Howard Stern Show".

  • @Sushimaniac96 Her voice is rape to my ears...

  • @tubebellator Baba Yaga is never as ugly as Lady Gaga! She is an angel compared to that creature.

  • thanks

  • Wow, Baba Yaga meets Totoro. Imaginative!

  • otcha otcha baba yaga tchon tchon tchi

  • Ahh, baba yaga brings back so many memories.

  • чепуха

  • so cute

  • i like it

  • baba yaga, who sits in her house with chicken legs dat spins round and round..she is often portrayed as a kind old witch...but in Vasalisa's story,i think she did want to eat V,but V escaped and took one of the skulls from Baba yaga's fence and used it as a light in the forest.the light from the skull eyes burnt her wicked stepmom and sisters

  • BJ didn't want to eat V, because she was very polite and careful with her, instead she let V go home, and eve gave her some presents.

  • @lilikoi24x7 That's not how I heard it. What happened to the doll her mum gave her before dying that did the chores for Vasillissa so Baga Yaga wouldn't eat her?

  • @Cougra139 oh ok...yeah,her mum did give her a doll and i remem the doll kept telling her what to do,i have a book here on russian fairytales...

  • OMG, is it just me, or was that a Tamagotchi pet???? :D This film is full of win!

  • I loved her as a child too...and a little scared---

in awe...but she was like a favourite eccentric

    aunt.

  • after this video they make baba yaga look nice and cuddly cuz of the way she waved to the little boy and hugged him!

  • baba yaga isnt all evil she did kill vasalisa's horrid stepmother and step sisters and let vasalisa go

  • isn't baba yaga suposed to be evil

  • yeah she's evil, I have no idea what this short film was about !!!!

  • kindess is found anywhere

  • Well she did steal that kid's tomogachi.

  • Sehr schöne Idee, Baba Yaga ist schon toll :D

  • this is so sweet

  • nice :)

  • I loved, feared Baba Yaga as as child. What a scarey house wiith chicken feet!

  • attack of the evil... witch.. russian ..farie.. things...

  • dude what does the asain kid have to do with any of this?

  • That was really lovely.

  • This is an adorable depiction of Baba Yaga! Certainly the boy was different from what she was used to— what boy back in her prime would have dared come up to her home like that? A change of lifestyle and a change of habitat for Baba Yaga.

Thank you so much for sharing this lovely animation! <3

  • that was so lovely

    :)

  • Great! Thanks!

  • nice music

  • It was really cute :3 And I really loved the music

  • I like this depiction of Baba Yaga better than most. I always thought of her more as an earth mother type than a evil witch. This is also a good depiction of how as the modern world grows the ferocity of the old ways is taken aback some.

  • Ultimately there is a beautifully positive twist to her evolving role in our world, in that she can begin to use her witchery for good instead of evil. Where once she ate and despised children, perhaps now she will grow to love and help them. Baba Yaga gets a rare chance at acceptance and love.

  • Thank you for your comment, I am glad, that you also understand the scene. probably it is the sad story for YAGA but I am thinking about what she could do in ourtime and probably it could be not so bad for her... if she finds something that she can do:)

  • That was awesome ^^

  • love it! are you russian? i am and i loved this video!

  • great short story

  • thanx

  • Congratulations.
