Glad you caught that. I thought the dog and bear repellent part of the sign was funny too. Although I guess it isn't so funny if you actually need to repel a dog or bear.
@AnthroVlog Your only worry there is if you're out in the suburb of Surrey (otherwise known as Slurrey). You may need to repel crackheads as well as loose pitbulls in certain areas. (I'm only half kidding on that one, haha.)
Twice: the last in 1999 on our way to Salt Spring Island. Vancouver is an odd town. The skyscrapers are so blandly utilitarian--not the kind of architecture one would expect in a major city. In Gas Town, there were two goth women's clothing stores only a few doors down from each other. And you could buy roasted jalapeno-flavored marijuana seeds in the smoke shops!
Well vancouver has height limits to their downtown skyline. There are things called viewcones to protect the views of the mountains which results in the low leveled skyline. But things are quickly changing now. Many things have changed since you were here in 1999 especially when the 2010 olympics coming soon.

@AnthroVlog I recognize that part of town (skid row); in THAT area, it's the vermin of the two-legged variety you have to worry about, haha...

Nice, Vancouver
I'm from Vancouver. People seem to like our town when they come to visit. Glad you liked your time here.

@nbwulf If you get to do so, by all means, visit the Lennox pub on the corner of Granville & Robson.

Only briefly. So much to do, so little time. Have you been?
