Seems like everything comes with a BAF piece. SG1 was probably the worst show I watched on a semi-regular basis. It was nothing like the kick-ass movie with Russell Crowe & James Spader. It really reminded me of a bad Star Trek clone but, like with any trainwreck, it was damn hard to look away. Shanks is a pretty cool actor, though. He's cameo'd on Burn Notice and, more recently, as Hawkman on Smallville. Very distinct voice, hard not to recognize it.

I saw the movie like 15 years ago. I'm pretty sure I liked it. I would like to see it again..

It would not be very hard to bring Anubis back, he is not dead he's just locked in combat with an ascended Anciant.

I like that Anubis figure! He looks like a sith lord! and I love the fact that you can't see his face. That is beyond cool!

But who or what is Anubis? And why is Daniel Jackson "ascended"?

lol this set provokes many questions if you're not that familiar with Stargate.

Oh how i hate those sculpts like anubis where you can move the waist and thus cut off/totally disjoint the figure. Great review as always!
