I'm happy she got a deal and I don't want to sound like a hater...but she really doesn't sound like anything different from what's out there. Her voice isn't something I'd recognize as unique. In fact, I'd confuse her with Mya. I think what works for her is her unique look, and the fact that she's being dubbed the female Frank Ocean. It's all about image and how you position her. Whatever works for her! I still like her music.
