going to court in nash county grand jury sept 30 for having 18 plants knee high growing in my barn 3 weeks before harvest i am 41 years old and i dont smoke cigs or drink or take any pills the only time i use weed is at night when family goes to sleep i slip out to my barn for a few puffs to help me sleep my oldest son is a rocky mount city police 22 year old and he still dont know kept it to my self till my brother moved in and followed me one night and he just had to rat to save his own hide

@michaelpjenkins1 Your brother sounds like a prick who should be disowned, and your son needs to find an occupation that won't see him locking up innocent people doing something that is safer than most legal drugs. There is no honor in being a police officer, when the laws being enforced requires one to dishonor the goodhearted and innocent.

Actually, the Judge informed Steve that the Grand Jury could return a "True Bill of Indictment" with new charges in Jan,08. The dismissal got the Sheriff's Dept. off the hook regarding the bogus warrant - Steve hopes they will re-indict. A jury could change law and meet out true justice in this case.

Obviously they have spent a lot of time and effort trying to screw you over. Do you have any idea how much money this "crimefighting" has cost the town or county?

As for costs to the taxpayers of Polk County, we're going to try to find out the amount spent on the raid/investigation. Also, my neighbor has an excellent lawsuit, so there's no telling what this could cost the county. The lying informant should be held responsible.
