The overall epic feel that the 1986 movie has still has not been surpassed in my opinion. From the soundtrack and storyline, to the voices, it all just fit perfect.
actually martin your wrong on armada that was story line and purely story line, thats why you had figures from the toy line that wern't in the show but 4 were in the comics of energon, the transmetal beast wars figures.

The orinals seemed more alian more believable the new ones use codes to transform and sound more human.

I think all the series are the best! never saw beast wars 2 or neo or any other japan-only transformers but they look good.

The first gen had such an influence on me as a kid. The was nothing bigger than Transformers in the mid 80s.

Armada-It got me in to Transformers.
Original-Because it's the original!
Energon-Because it's the sequal of Armada, and Armada rocks!
