Strange reaction: if what Erle Montaigue says about 'his' system is true, namely that he got it from teacher's who learned it from Yang Lu'Chan himself, he doesn't own the credits for this form but Yang Lu'Chan does. Since he's long dead now, there is no-one who can lay claim to the Yang-Lu'Chan form and so everyone who wants can make a video about it and sell it. Like the other forms.

However, it would be nice of Thierry Alibert if he mentioned where he got the form from in his dvd's.

I practice the Old yang style and I admit to try larger stances sometimes, but selling videos without mentioning that it comes from Montaigue system seems strange to me. Moreover it is fun to see how Moontagu is proud of his copyright. I really love this kind of martial gossip, it takes my mind off my daily practice

This is really intersting. I mean, some student of Montaigue makes a video on the Old Yang Style which is clearly different from the way Erle does it: the techniques are the same but it is done in a Wudang or Chen fashion.

Are you selling the Old Yang Style videos?? Don't you konw that it is actually illegal to do so as Erle Montaigue holds the copyright on this system!!! Take this video off YouTube or be reported!
