Palestinians also have a right to the land and they also feel that they only fight to defend themselves from airstrikes. Settlements did stop 4 a year and the PA did go back into peace talks but then the settlements continued. The PA agreed to peace talks based on pre 67 borders with Israel and the US but that was rejected by Israel.

@MrDonLamberto Actually Israel does recognize Palestine, they recognize the Kingdom of Jordan which is the true Palestinian state. In 1923 the British divided their mandate for Palestine and 77% of the land went to the Arabs and became Transjordan (now the Kingdom of Jordan) while the Jews got 23% of the land. But apparently this was not enough for the Arabs since they now control more than 77%.

@MrRichardSabsay But the chaps in Israel use air strikes which cause a lot more damage and kill a lot more people. And if I recall correctly the Palestinian Authority was at the table for peace talks last year but they could not continue because the freeze on illegal (as stated by the UN) Israeli settlemant builing on Palestinian land was lifted. Palestinians were living on the land before Israel was created and any peace deal will have to take they're needs into account.
