"KMFDM sucks" hat ned alle mit deutschen Vorurteilen zu tun, also die viele Scheiße was die Band in Amerika gekriegt hat (das Problem mit dem Lied "Liebeslied", zmB) und sondern eine Kritik an den Mainstream und Musikfirmen. So das Lied spricht für KMFDM an die ganze Welt eigentlicht.

Track 9 of KMFDM's 1993 album Angst is called Sucks. Its a tongue in cheek song about why they're a terrible band, while actually making fun of the mainstream music scene. The chorus refrain is "No doubt about it, KMFDM Sucks!".

Since then, its become a constant chant at live shows. When the main set ends, its tradition for the audience to shout "KMFDM SUCKS!" until the encore begins.
