Then the wildlife and landscape is barren for years as new prey species move in populated the area then slowly the wolves move back in and the process continue until the next crash. The truth is the wolves were wiping out the caribou. The count on caribou calves was 1 per 100 female caribou in 2006 and 7. In 2008 after aerial hunting the caribou skyrocket up 390% to 39 calves per 100 female caribou. Guess what their still wolves in the wild. To maintain the caribou herd you need 20 per 100 that is fact. Stop spreading your emotional lies and deal with the truth. Wolves need to be controlled like that have been for the last 10,000 years.

Very informative video! Hunting has a huge impact on Alaska's economy, of course they're going to bend the rules when they see dollar signs. What kind of a hunter refuses to compete with a natural predator?
