I'm about to sit my final senior school exams tomorrow. I've been studying like crazy and my Dad showed me this song... I think it has become my motto song. Loved it and have been singing it all night.
It's so obvious to me this is the perfect love song. I listen to it over and over because I love his voice so much but at the same time I feel the same way. Thats what true love feels like. to me. That it doesnt matter what you know or what you'e read but that you love someone and if they love you to you'll have a wonderful life together. Its such a great song. :)

@StickWarrior Most kids today would ask "What's a slide rule? Does that have to do with baseball?". But then again, today's generation probably hasn't seen a typewriter or an adding machine. One kid even asked on another video "What's an Oldsmobile?". Makes me feel a little bit old.

But, don't feel old. It happens with every generation. Parents complain now about kids never using 8-track cassettes or records, I'm sure one hundred years ago, it pissed off parents when their kids didn't rock out to their wax cylinders.
As for the Oldsmobile comment, find that kid and slap some sense into him. Those are some beautiful cars.
@StickWarrior Nice to see another person on here who knows about wax cylinders, most people I've talked to young and old think it starts with 78s. But I think in those days, in seriousness, most people were accepting of the technological changes since they were slow paced enough to adapt. Nowadays, you buy something and as soon as you get it, it's obsolete. Speaking of Oldsmobiles, those were the cars my family used growing up. Great, dependable, well-made cars. Shame they stopped making them.

I can remember crusing Vancouver Island with a beer in hand and stuff that could have gotten me killed, hitting strip joints and eating pizza until I got quite the belly.....ANYHOW... songs like this I always kept close to my heart, made me cry, and I knew it was stopping me from becoming a complete fucking nutcase.
ill tell you guys what happened to music, now i dont favor any time period of music its all good but this music died because the world changed, when the worlds people change so does music. Its sad to lose good music like this but the great thing bout music is that the constant change can lead to great music
