Love that QR livery!! Was held up in Toowoomba by The Westlander a few years ago ... we have so many great train journeys in Australia!!

why is the 1700 loco always the second loco? does it have anything to do with power?

the 1720's are almost 45 years old and are usually used to help bank (break) trains these days on the mainlines.

2330 was used on the Westlander for a while, I saw it on a coalie lastweek assisting 2348 at Ipswich.
