@jimfear666 Have you heard any songs by a band called Lock Up? That was his first major gig, but they fizzled out within a year. His roots are pure 80s shredding. He knows a lot more than just effects, that's just the style he settled into for RATM and what he's known for.

I think Morello, Zack and RATM are amazing, i have so much respect for them. But come on nightwatchman is just a joke, i respect Morello for widening his creativity. However it would be so much better if he just abandoned this project and put all that energy into RATM and maybe do bigger tours in countries like the UK and make a new album etc.
