Lightning/static on the radio

I always check the Long Wave band first,as the storm will always show up there first,then as it gets nearer,switch to Medium Wave,which tells me its not too far away,possibly less than 50 miles from my location.

sounded like a good storm coming at you, i do the same thing in the summer time where i live to see how strong a storm's going to be
