Guys im gonna end this mini war on this comment sections. Kirk is a great guitarist, but he's far from the best. The best guitarist in the world is probably some unknown mexican who sits in his bedroom. To be the best guitarist in the world you dont have to be known. James writes rthym parts. Kirk writes the solos. Kirk has allot of emotion in his solo's except the ones where its just pure shredding. He can write really good slow solos. Check out Fade to Black and Master of Puppets. Case solved.
