I am nit picking but the records have to be kept straight....Long John Baldry never played with a group called The Crawdaddies. He started with Alexis Korner in Blues inc. and when they split he went with Cyril Davies and after he died took over the group and renamed them The Hoochie Coochie men featuring a young Rod Stewart.
I wonder if Claire remembers her debut showcase for Island in a Mayfair restuarant ?? I do and still have nightmares about it - very very sorry Claire.
