Do some research before bagging out products you know nothing about.

Handhelds are great, but pc gaming is gonna stay on a surface, so get a laptop if you wanna move around.
Call me old fashioned if you like, but the ONLY device i will ever play any computer game on is a desktop PC computer with reasonably recent hardware specs. All handhelds suck, their control precision aren't even remotely close to what it needs to be for me to enjoy ANY kind of game. I do own an android and a psp and never play any game on either, I use them as media players. The psp is just physically painful to use, and the android has no feedback to tell me when I've actually pressed a button

I have iPad 2, iPhone 4, PSP, but will sure buy Fiona. Being able to play PC game one the go is just awesome. And from what I've seen, it's not very big, not very heavy, pretty powerful and controls are the best for this type of device.
lol the smart thing about SONY is that the PS Vita will take the missing sales of the PS4 for a while, then when they gain enough money that they need they will start teasers of the PS4, might be a little long due to the PSN Shutdown but im still surprised that the PS2 is still selling, its 1 of the strongest and oldest consoles out there now, unless N64 is still alive.

TB, I think the WiiU will do great. The idea of brigding the gap is brilliant, and why would you not jump on to it, Nintendo is always selling it cheaply for everyone. Imagine how that would be, it is possibly a mix of all 3 current gaming consoles right now. I believe it's also the 1st console to have 2 types of controllers at the start, I haven't done any research though. And perhaps the best thing, backwards compatibility. Wii games + WiiU games, I think its absolutely brilliant.
Well I saw the sales for gaming companies, and I have to say, Nintendo is frickin rich as fuck. Sony has to catch up with at least 2-3 billions to top Nintendo.
But at the same time, I think the Wii-U will have a great appeal to families. Those who had Wii can purchase Wii-U and the persons in the home who want to play more "hardcore games" could do so without having to purchasing an Xbox720 or a PS4. If Wii-U would have blu-ray and regular controllers I think it could mean another absolute smash hit as the whole family could play on the same console. (:

Your game play footage has convinced me to go out and drop the $20 on TFU2 for 360. I finished the first game, and while I enjoyed it, it left a kind of "meh" after taste for me. I've heard that second one isn't as good, but judging by what I've seen I'm pretty sure that it will be good enough to warrant a playthrough at a reduce price :) Thanks :)

funny thing is my schools name changed when i got in to it at first, it used to be called Croften, had a SERIOUS bad rep, injuries, bad grades, bad students, theft etc. It only changed about 4 years ago, when my year group was introduced.
Nowadays, going to a normal college class without some sort of laptop/ipad/macbook air is seriously interfering with your ability to take notes/follow hand-outs or slides regarding that class. I would say it's vital. Especially for me, going to a computer science major.
Everyone types their notes these days, and given where I went to college (Vancouver, BC), just about everyone had an iPad, Macbook, or at least a laptop worth as much as an iPad in class. A few kids had PC-based tablets that were probably on the cheap end or rather cheap laptops, but I don't know anyone who didn't carry around /something/ worth more than $350 to class every day.

I definently think Sony is being smart here. If TBs "WTF is" Series has shown anything its that high graphical fidelity games are NOT the only games being sold. Innovation is really the shift in what makes games sold these days. Honestly once we get to where Skyrim and Crysis 2 are in graphics do we really need things looking more "real"? Ah.. The razer fiona.. Purportedly going to be made for under 1000$, controls don't seem detachable at all, the screen itself (I'm assuming w/o bezel) is 10.1" and oh my dear lord the battery life. 2-3 hours of gameplay and it gets very very hot.
I don't really care how my games look, as long as they're fun. Just the other day I played Mario Kart 64 with some of my friends, it's still fun, more fun then a lot of modern games. And isn't that the point? Entertainment?

I'm a PC gamer and i'm quite happy with the quality of graphics at the moment, it's not just PS3 and 360 owners. I think there a lot of PC gamers like me who are more intrested in gameplay than visuals, so long as the visuals are acceptable.
Actually, I'm in high school and I see people flaunting their iPads all of the time. They don't bring them because they need them, though, they just want to let everyone know "hey! I've got an iPad!"

I have several friends who take a video editing class and they do a majority of the work on their macbook so they can finish w/e is left as home on it. It's also useful for writing papers in the library and not trying to rush for an open computer.

The thing with this Razer Tablet is that is runs Windows 8. Which is a global OS for all the devices running windows 8. What Windows 8 you have in your laptop or PC, that's what you have in other mobile devices. So basically this Tablet is a touchscreen PC or laptop without the keyboard. (maybe you can attach a keyboard to it i dunno) still, it's a PC in tablet form.
also... one important thing that Fiona will not have... OVERCLOCKING!!! it is a fucking godsend for those of us with mobile devices and a good cooler device

I want to pick up one of the newer generation of consoles but i just don't feel that there's a point for me. I have a high end gaming pc that will be able to run anything for awhile and all i really use my ps3 for is Fighting/racing games and movies. And if i wanted to i could have gotten though on my pc and just used a pad.
It just seems like there's no point in getting a console now. Most games are multi-platform, (bar a few like dark souls) and look and play better on a PC.

TB, I think the WiiU will do great. The idea of brigding the gap is brilliant, and why would you not jump on to it, Nintendo is always selling it cheaply for everyone. Imagine how that would be, it is possibly a mix of all 3 current gaming consoles right now. I believe it's also the 1st console to have 2 types of controllers at the start, I haven't done any research though. And perhaps the best thing, backwards compatibility. Wii games + WiiU games, I think its absolutely brilliant.

But at the same time, I think the Wii-U will have a great appeal to families. Those who had Wii can purchase Wii-U and the persons in the home who want to play more "hardcore games" could do so without having to purchasing an Xbox720 or a PS4. If Wii-U would have blu-ray and regular controllers I think it could mean another absolute smash hit as the whole family could play on the same console. (:

About the blu-ray, I don't think it would be necessary to have it, Wii already had Netflix to download, so I think WiiU will have it too. Your game play footage has convinced me to go out and drop the $20 on TFU2 for 360. I finished the first game, and while I enjoyed it, it left a kind of "meh" after taste for me. I've heard that second one isn't as good, but judging by what I've seen I'm pretty sure that it will be good enough to warrant a playthrough at a reduce price :) Thanks :)

Everyone types their notes these days, and given where I went to college (Vancouver, BC), just about everyone had an iPad, Macbook, or at least a laptop worth as much as an iPad in class. A few kids had PC-based tablets that were probably on the cheap end or rather cheap laptops, but I don't know anyone who didn't carry around /something/ worth more than $350 to class every day.

I definently think Sony is being smart here. If TBs "WTF is" Series has shown anything its that high graphical fidelity games are NOT the only games being sold. Innovation is really the shift in what makes games sold these days. Honestly once we get to where Skyrim and Crysis 2 are in graphics do we really need things looking more "real"? The thing with this Razer Tablet is that is runs Windows 8. Which is a global OS for all the devices running windows 8. What Windows 8 you have in your laptop or PC, that's what you have in other mobile devices. So basically this Tablet is a touchscreen PC or laptop without the keyboard. I want to pick up one of the newer generation of consoles but i just don't feel that there's a point for me. I have a high end gaming pc that will be able to run anything for awhile and all i really use my ps3 for is Fighting/racing games and movies. And if i wanted to i could have gotten though on my pc and just used a pad.
It just seems like there's no point in getting a console now. Most games are multi-platform, (bar a few like dark souls) and look and play better on a PC.
