  • the meta message on it, is that the important is not race, but way of life and social control, so you have to make all grow and get the same unique culture and that the goverment think is good for global dominance....

  • Promoting equality because people are alike is not a very stable or encompassing way of doing so. It's better just to promote equality *despite* differences, as a value that's strong enough on its own.

  • Unbelievable. A cartoon meant to promote basic tolerance to children is bringing out some of the most racist comments I've ever read on YouTube. Irony at its most grotesque.

  • @beatchikk

Perhaps because racists such as ourselves are tired of you fucking faggots spouting lies?

FUCK your tolerance you fucking naive cunts.

  • @omegapoint777 Looks like your looking into the mirror when your ranting because all the things you're accusing others of, you are guilty of yourself. You are so pathetic.

  • @beatchikk it was actually comissioned by the United Auto Workers to promote tolerance in workers, not children. this was still in the days before cartoons were specified to children

  • Modern genetics proves "every race is identical" completely false. Athropologists can determine the race of a skeleton easily. Transracial adoption studies prove that races have different inherent intelligence

  • @shirtfag or they prove that discrimination can work even if (or especially when) your parents are a different color from you. Yes, there are genetic, differences in bone structure, metabolism, etc, which can all be both advantages OR disadvantages - sickle cell anemia in black people gives them higher immunity to malaria. It's ignorant to think that genetic differences translate into a difference in the value of people, or the respect they each/all deserve.

  • >8.40

    >Attributing all differences to Environmental differences.

How about no. Studies shown that when Caucasian kids are adopted by Blacks they score better (I.Q) than Blacks raised by Blacks. And Blacks raised by Caucasians scored lower than Caucasians raised by Caucasians.

    Nice try though.

  • @mooeythemooseman

    *On average

  • @mooeythemooseman Yeah- badly made and widely contradicted studies that, by their own author's admission, 'can be used to prove either a genetic or an environmental effect'. Studies that have used actually comparable samples and take into account the social environment (not just the race of the parents and adoptive parents) find NO genetically attributable differences so...

    Yeah, nice try.

  • >7.50

    >Implying those "dark skin flourishing cultures" weren't Caucasian.

I don't know whether this is due to Genetic or environmental differences, but the Negroids have never had a flourishing culture. Some people put it down to I.Q differences, some to lack of domesticated animals and harsh environment.

But taking Caucasian successes and giving them to the blacks is very offensive. If I was Egyptian I would be pissed at the rest of the world thinking Ancient Egypt was Negroid.

  • @mooeythemooseman

''But taking Caucasian successes and giving them to the blacks is very offensive.''

You probably haven't contributed to caucasian success in any noteworthy way so it's irrational of you to be offended. But if you accept pride by association, do you also feel guilt by association over bad things caucasians have done?

  • @mooeythemooseman

Anyway, the people who ''should'' be offended would potentially be the (non-black/mixed) ancient Egyptians who made their civilization possible, but even those guys did it mostly through oppressive means, so it's doubtful if they ''should'' feel proud over the result of their oppression.

  • @mooeythemooseman Oh- and perhaps you haven't heard of the Nubian civilization that flourished and at one point CONQUERED large parts of ancient Egypt, built a highly sophisticated society (complete with pyramidal structures) and, arguably were some of the earliest developers of Iron technology. (and yes, they were 'negroid')

  • Nothing in this video is based on fact, you are all idiots.

  • >An animated film, in humorous style, which makes the point that dissimilarities between people are not basic but result from superficial environmental influences.

Nice, but that's wrong. Different populations have different gene frequencies. We are all different.

I hate the Cultural Marxists peddling "THERE IS NO RACE BUT THE HUMAN RACE, HURR HURR". You sound like fundamental Christians. There is no reason we can't get along, but denying racial differences is fallacious.

  • @mooeythemooseman Yeah and studies show that white people are more stupid than Chinese and Japanese.

  • @mooeythemooseman

How the heck is race denial ''cultural marxism''? I hear people say this a lot, but when asked for a sufficient explanation for their label they tend to shy away.

  • Imagine there's no Heaven It's easy if you try No hell below us Above us only sky Imagine all the people Living for today Imagine there's no countries It isn't hard to do Nothing to kill or die for And no religion too Imagine all the people Living life in peace You may say that I'm a dreamer But I'm not the only one I hope someday you'll join us And the world will be as one... - John Lennon
  • @pooie0116

John Lennon in his older age was actually embarrassed about his radical past ideology. He became more of a conservative as he grew up and denounced his past beliefs.

Every marxist liberal has to grow eventually and realise it doesn't work and has never done so. It is pure ignorance and is a poison your own people.

  • @TikofTok unfortunately, you have it backwards. In his twenties John Lennon had very much a conservative, working class -ideology (also somewhat racist). By the time 'Imagine' came along he was increasingly liberal (not the same as Marxist) and his anti-war, anti-discrimination position only grew more intense. Unless by 'older age' you are implying that in the last few months before he was shot he confided in you that he regretted everything he'd done the last 12 yrs

  • 9:45 seems that politicians never caught up to that idea

  • It needed a cartoon to educate Americans about race? My God USA is THICK as SHIT!

  • Those little shadowy figures remind me of some well known current political factions.

  • shame it has only 4k views..

  • I think this is the most relevant animated movie I have ever seen. Where's one for women's lib?

  • What an incredible discovery this is. : ) This is knowledge and education: enlightenment.

  • Why wasn't this made necessary to watch? Fucking perfect.

  • I thought there were special types of blood that could sometimes be found in certain Africans. (Nice video though.)

  • @weeatwheat if you are referring to the HbS allele (sickle cell anemia), yes there is a high frequency of heterozygosity in African populations due to its ability to prevent malaria.

  • This was very progressive for 1946 explaining the true differences between the different tribes on earth, I think that things like this should be taught to the youth. Instead we have media conglomerates that keep us watching by promoting cultural arrogance and xenophobia. 10 minutes your your life, I enjoyed it :)

  • God bless UPA for things like this.

The only thing is today the idea is that there are four seperate races instead of three. Native Americans at this time were still classified as "Mongoloids."

  • @WillScarlet16

Which is silly when you think about it. We should be trying to see ourselves as one race, not four races.

  • @WillScarlet16

Native Americans are still classified as Mongoloids.

  • all believe in a supreme being?

what about Buddhists, not talking about atheists

    they are different lol

  • Like the message in the video. LET THE EGO DIE!

  • I've noticed on the other way to see this cartoon comments were blocked for it. Is this because people were placing racist comments? This cartoon is important because of the many racist cartoons made during WWII, espically the 1943 Warner Bros. cartoon "Coal Black". The comments for that cartoon, which I was part of for awhile, got quite heated. I'm going to later post my comments with that 1943 cartoon and try to get many who saw that one to see this one. the people posted here could also.

  • @praymondh An important reminder is that these 'rascists were probably not even born but many years after this production, so they are guilty of being 'born' into or fed upon ignorance and mislead by misinformation from their environment they happened to inherit.

  • are there any cartoons about respect for people of other races during the 40's and 50's, please say yes and don't just say it for fun

  • wonderful cartoon :D

  • what a terrific inspiration to cartoons. I wish there were more of these kinds of cartoons.
