  • i can do it really good but what gets me med is that the next day i start to get scared again i prefer doing it with your hands behind the knees it makes you spin waaaaaaay more

  • Ive tried to do a gainer off of diving boards before because i feel it will help me get over the fear but i always end up landing on my shoulders in the water. And when i try to do a backflip onto cushions I also always just land on my shoulders. Any pointers?

  • yesterday i ran over some kids and they asked if i could do a backflip and run up a wall doing it.

    and i fell like a jerk when i can't do those stuff.

    i have done backflips on tramoline sence i was 11 but i cant do it on grass becuase of the fear.

  • iI shall try that. Some people say forget all the trampoline/mattress/swimming pool crap, but im just too scared. I can do a series of somersaults on trmpoline including backflip, so im going to go step by step. next is mattress lol.

  • its just the fear of landing on yur neck nd head its proven for the backflip that the backflip makes yur head nd neck feel vulnerable to injury so it stops yu from doing it

    can u do it on the bed? im not sure, i always get feelins i might break my neck, coz once i did about a 180degree back flip(half way) then i landed on my face, now i fear back flippin =(

    i just go upside down then pull my legs back (with my leg muscles not my arms)

  • i did exactly what you said about jumping straight up and when i pulled my legs in i landed on my back ^o) then i tried leaning back at the peak of my jump and still did ? help

  • when your knees are coming into a tuck, it's like a force bringing you around to complete it. arms guide the chest withought you knowing. try to tuck in the air then combine it with the flip.
